Training Questions

    Hi guys,

    I have been playing TCM05 for about three months, but since I was a rookie in the game I didn't pay that much attention in training at the beginning, until I get used to the game interface. But now I want to be more active especially when my assistant manager doesn't seem to be up fo the task and the skills of my players are not devoping as quickly as I would like.

    So, in the basic training tab in the game there are four sessions: Fitness, Skills, Tactics and Regeneration. When my assistant manager is in charge, I see that the number of balls allocated in these sessions change over the time. If I set between seven and ten balls in each one of these sessions how will affect my team? Any suggestions in this area would be very much appreciated since the manual is not very clear on this matter.

    And the second question I 'd like to ask is why the individual skills of a player take so long to inprove? I have seen cases that for players to improve their skills takes 90 weeks, sometimes even more. Is there any way to improve these skills faster?

    In answer to your first question I think that the more balls you apply to each session, the more chance you have of your players getting tired. I'm not 100% sure on this, but it is what I believe.

    As to your second question I think I read something about the more stars a player has the quicker his personal skills improve, again I'm not dead certain of this.

    Yeah Mariners is right!I'm playing ONLY tcm2005 4almost two years,and I could tell you that sometimes I get some 18 year old player to my team,with proper human characteristics,and in a 25-30 games....His rating goes up by 2.5-3.5 ppoints!!!Since i'm enjoying to manage low league club,my best player ever was some goalie A.Ibanez Tebar(from spain)...13.3.One year he was loaned to oldham,on that time he improved himself significantly!Now I'm playing with Notts Count in my 6th season,and I'm in a championschip(playin level:champion)!

    TRy to see some under19year players in national squad who is playin in lower league.They improve wery fast if they are constantly playin.

    And ofcourse try to get most talented players when they are young,and watch only those with good human characteristics!

    When you buy some perspective youngster,try to get him in starting 11 all the time.If he is playin good,you will soon receive message that ".... setting well in th new league his level gone up by one point".Than you will know that you;re doing the righ thing!

    yea of coz for me! im been after this game series from 2003 until now.... but im not satisfy with my training schedule. I saw somewhere bout the training session and it seems very successful but it ask me to think myself (WTF right ?), and i lost the thread (not here i guess since i join this forum for just one day)


    usually i set my training session like 2 fitness and 1 normal program for low fatigue player (0 -30)

    and 1 fitness + 1 normal proogram for those average fatigue player (31- 50)

    and for those players who got over 50 fatigue, will give them a fitness program for first 2 days, until reduced to 30 ++ i use low fatigue plan for them...

    i playing at the middle difficulties (shud be something like professional ...) cant imagine how the players survive in champion difficulties, doubt whether they able to walk to dressing room, or need ambulance car to send them home..

    Someone help me Pls !! suffer this from few years plus...
