Training to improve players stats? Is it possible?

JTNY

Starting XI
Is it possible to do this?

Stories of people training players from stats of 1 to 11, and so on. Can you actually do this or are these people telling lies? I've had players stats improve but they are young players who are supposed improve anyway...

Is it intensive training? So if I want to improve pace do I put heaps of sprints?

If I want to improve technical do I put technique?

Please helps peoples.:o

training helps improve stats immensly(sp?). a good training schedule can help improve a player but he has to have room for improvement for him to improve any :D

for example, a 22 year old will have a better chance of improving stats seeing as how he is still away from his prime instead of a 32 year old.

one thing i dont understand... sometimes i get a good schedule going for my defenders... they are all improving.. stats are improving and they all have green arrows going up, then 2 weeks later they alll have red arrows... its starting to piss me off... :(

no im just wondering why the same schedule will improve their stats for 2 weeks then all of a sudden the same schedule turns to ****... its getting annoying now. :(

That's probably because you focus your training too much on one area and the player begins to drop other stats.

Most of my players always improve quite a lot, some players stay bad (at 19 year and a pot. ability of 170), but some become very good (like Ducasse).

Carlier was always very easy to train into a good player in CM4:)

yea that is my prob but i make different training schedules for different areas, (one for strikers, one for defenders, etc...) but the weird thing is that the same schedule will have the defenders all in the green and improving all of their stats one week and then they will all be red the next week and their stats are dropping... im confused, but the main problem is that i dont really have a big transfer budget or a very generous board so the success of my campaign will rotate around how well my players perform... and i need a good steady training schedule for that.

k well i stole ure schedule :D just to see whaht it would do for my players and its a bit tough on the fitness part since i have domestic matches, cups and the CL. interesting thing is that mostly, the attacker stats went up while the defensive players stats went down, and in the game the defense seems to have degraded. on the upside, the players have much more teamwork, more assists on the goals, and have more teamwork overall. my teams has improved, ive been using the schedule for 2 months now. thats just my experience with that schedule though.
