ive started a new game as west ham with fm formations update.. its the jan transfer window and i've made a bid for daniel carvalho which has been accepted, theres also another club who has made a mid which has been accepted. now i'm looking to wrap up the transfer asap bcos i have about 7 1st team injuries but i think i've been hit wit a bug. when i click carvalho it doesnt even say he is considering the contract it says he is on holiday. its been about a week and a 1/2 since i offered the contract now. is this a bug and if so does any1 know if there is a way around it? cos i rly need this signing as i just sold ljunberg.. need a replacement.

I had a guy play 30 times for me in one season for me and was denied a work permit. Blame Blair.

Yeah British work permits are pretty hard going...

Even IRL the 18 year old would be more likely, because he is 18, he isnt expected to have had caps etc Get a feeder club that can take him on loan, or buy players that you can use :)

depends where you send him. He could get citizenship in that country, or, because he's playing at where you've sent him, he'll become more well known and qualify for a permit. To see if he qualifies, simply offer him a new contract. The home office will either stop him from signing it due to work permit problems, or he'll be able to sign in, in which case he's been given a permit.
