Transfer Bug

I was playing CM 03/04 yesterday, and I was in pre-season, AC Milan offered me 10.5 million pounds, plus Rivaldo for Robert Pires, and since I have a player to fill the position he was playing (not to mention Pires was playing badly) i accepted.
So, they offer Pires the contract, i offer Rivaldo one, then play a few games and I forgot about it, then whilst looking for player's i remembered the transfer, and for no reason, it had dissapeared, without any news from Milan or anything.
Odd?

I often think that too, but they sometimes make long contract offers........and sometimes it does dissapear in the future transfer list, but I always hear something though

Yeah, I offered a contract to Zac Whitbread and 6 months later, still no reply, but it is in future transfer.

i have had it before when in my game as rangers i tried to sign danny mills...after a few weeks i went and looked for him and it didnt even say that they were thinking about the bid...
