Not exactly a trick but a new feature. While watching the replay of a goal, pressing the "through ball" button goes to replay mode.

It doest seem to be exactly the same as in PES. But it is similar and its usefull. Especially the long press of the short pass button. Congrats to EA this time. Lol im trying out tips and tricks posted here so i cant concentrate on finding out new ones.

edit: tip: u can use L1 button while crossing the ball. And i think L1 + 2 times long pass button quickly gives low strong cross.

Finesse shot:

Press and hold shooting button. While shooting meter is goin up press and hold finesse shot button = L2 gamepad and Z i think on keyboard, so for a second u have them both pressed and then just release shooting button first and then release finesse shot button. Quickly.

COOL PLAY PASS: U have the ball. Press L1 + pass to start 1-2 pass, but then u press pass button again quickly so the player who received the ball just stands in place and stops the ball for u and u take over. Looks very cool and is usefull.

I guess I need to work on it a bit, it seems the player who passes the ball off and then runs forward, won't run quick enough a 1-2 pass unless I hold the ball up for a bit? Another question, either for you or someone else that can answer it, I'm wondering how to fake a shot? I have mapped the shoot button to button 1 and lob to button 3, (like Winning Eleven), but can't seem to get it to work, everytime I press shoot twice and then the pass button to cancel, he kicks the ball anyway. I also tried it with L1 but without success, any ideas? Thanks!

I found this on EA Forums:


*These steps work when u're going to the right direction:

Hold both right and shift buttons, and when u're close to the ball leave the right button and press one of these: (keep holding shift)

1) Right+Down OR Right+UP
2) Up+Down OR Down+Up
3) Left+Up+Right OR Left+Down+Right
4) Right+Left Right
5) Down+Left+Up OR Up+Left+Down
**This one (5) works for good dribblers like Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo, and it may not work everytime u try it.

You can try any combinations of direction buttons and maybe u'll discover a new dribble :)

When u're going to another direction (left, down, up) all u have to do is to change the direction buttons and match them to the direction u're going to.

I tried both of these and couldn't get it to work, however I was able to get it work by pressing down the cross button, then quickly pressing the pass button to cancel the shot, but I was only able to get this to work sometimes, mostly when confronted by a player or the keeper, weird.

hmmm. i think it is (when running from Left to right) down down-right and then right, with the trick-stick...just a guess, i've done it twice or so..but forget to observe what it is i'm doing:P

Hmm how do u stop the ball when u recieve it? i tired of players running in one direction everytime u get the ball..

Edit nm found out that my old gamepad doesnt work correctly with fifa :(
