BIG MATCH NOTES

Undefeated sides clash in Champions League final

# When Arsenal and FC Barcelona meet in Saint-Dénis on Wednesday, two undefeated sides will contest the final of this season's Champions League.
# The two teams have recorded eight victories and four draws each in their first 12 matches.
# It is the third time since the competition began in 1992 that two teams have reached the final unbeaten.
# This also occurred in 1992/93 and 93/94. In the former final, Olympique Marseille beat AC Milan by 1-0.
# Milan made amends in style the next season by beating Barcelona 4-0.

Arsenal retain watertight defence in knockout phase

# Arsenal have not conceded a Champions League goal since 27 September 2005.
# The sequences of 10 consecutive clean sheets and 919 minutes without letting in a goal are both Champions League records.

Barcalona? Wth? A match of this importance and you can´t even spell Barcelona? I expect a better preview (Sevilhista type anyone? :p) Well i hope the best team wins and that the best team is BARCELONA. Força Deco.

THE BIG ONE'S FINALLY HERE
what can i say at the start of teh season every one had their predictions, thoughts, ideas and even wishes on who would eb in the final,
i am rather lucky this year that my team is in, after winning la liga what a way it would be to cap off a fantastic season by winnig the biggest trophy in europe
arsenal are a very young squad, but still has bags of experience with henry up front, their newly announced german #1, jens lehmann who has been godsent for arsenal several times through out the season
but i beliueve there will be a winner that comes out of the 90 minutes,
barca 2-0 eto'o, deco debutant and former winner with porto with the spoils
i cant really c it any otha way
but then that's coming from a barca fan's prespective
VISCA EL BARCA, VISCA EL CATALUNYA,
ARSENAL CABRON, SALUD EL CAMPEON!!!! :rockman:

OMG, you misspelt - he's Sevillista, not Sevilhista. I expect a better post...

Norwegian Terje Hauge will be the ref for the final. He's the guy that sent off that hooligan Del Horno when he tried to take out Messi. Good referee , not afraid to make strong decisions.

Don't write Arsenal off. They beat Madrid when noone expected them to. They have an electric counter attack that can punish any team in the world, not to mention the best striker on earth.

F*CKING COME ON YOU GUNNERS!

I hope Hleb and Eboué teaches Gio a lesson. That ******* Arsenal reject.

Well actually that picture is just......the greatest player in the world right now (Ronaldino) next to a very good attacker Henry.

Barcelona to run away with this and quickly 3-0 Ronny with 2 goals.

Hmmm no. And no i don´t expect a better post from you, perhaps a lame reply with some  , which is your pattern.
Anyways much better first post. Btw i was not taking a jab at you Papageordeo. I simply thought that a game with this importance should have a better preview, kinda like the one SEVILHISTA made for the Uefa cup final. It´s alot better now :)

Dream Team

Starting XI
There are only two doubts in our line-up: Xavi vs Iniesta, Messi vs Giuly. Xavi looks good, but I think Iniesta has earned the spot, he deserves to play the final. Messi has been training the last few days with the squad but he's not played any game in two months. Probably Giuly will start, only if he's not affected by the fact that he's not going to play the World Cup. Larsson could play as well.

Please don't post things that you can only read in certain English tabloids because it's all BS. Thank you.

Apparently Terje Haughe is the ref. The same guy who sent off Del Horno in the Chelsea-Barcelona match.
