next tuesday at Old Trafford



both clubs are facing different fases. Man Utd lost their last game at home against Blackburn and Benfica won confortably at Penafiel and has 3 wins in a row. Manchester Utd will miss key players like Rooney and Keane.

i'm optimistic for this match. we have chances to get a draw or even win it.

It just isn't likely for Man Utd to lose another game or even tie.

But if we ever had a real chance of beating Man Utd in OT this is it.

I have basically zero confidence in this team atm. I mean, if we can generate so many chances, yet only score one...I mean..you never know what will happen.

I want Benfica to do the best in the european games, as every portuguese team. But I have never seen any over-confidence like this from them. After they made 2 great matches and Nuno Gomes scored a goal he won't score in his life anymore, they think they can win anyone. Be realistic. A draw is a fantastic result. But my predict isn't for that.

over confidence? just because we are finally winning some games? guess it's normal when you perform and deliver the goods. Nuno has got his confidence back and now he isn't afraid of shooting anymore. We have some fast wings and, if our midfield handles the pressure of playing at old trafford i can see us getting something out of it.

We have to be realistic: in normal conditions, Man Utd will win this because they are much stronger than we are. And the fact that they come from a series of bad results will make things even harder for us in my view.

If we are in a bad day, we can even get destroyed by 4 goals, but it's also true that if our players are in a good day, we can beat Manchester United.

So, like Virgo, my heart says it will be a draw (1-1) and my head says we will lose (2-0). More than anything else, I hope it is a good game and we deliver a nice performance.

Anyway, a draw would be a result to be proud of. Man United has too much quality and experience to let themselves fall into a prolonged string of bad results. I just hope they wait until the game after Benfica to storm back. In any case, the truth is we have been more potent with two strikers and despite what a couple Porto fans will tell you, we do have a quality side too filled with NT players, so it's not like we're a pub team from Luxembourg going into Old Trafford..
