Funny how everybody says how ****e Fletcher played and didn't score or create anything. Why don't we then tell him to go attack with the rest of the team and leave pretty much Ferdinand and O'Shea to do all the defensive work. We can't control the midfield, because more than half the team tries to go forward and then slowly comeback and if Fletcher started attacking and pressing just as much, then we would probably not control our own half as well, might as well just give the ball to the other team everytime. Have you people ever thought, that not all midfielders have the same job of playing as an attacking midfielder and not all of them are told by their managers to take the ball, hold it, dribble past a few players and make a through ball? Learn some things about advanced tactics and not just the standard FIFA 2005 plays.

I've never been Fletcher's biggest fan but I have to admit that he has impressed me in the last 2 or 3 matches, he seems to be more commanding and the fact that Keane is injure is not a bad thing, Smith and Fletcher could indeed be United's midfield of the future.
