UEFA Champions League 2009-2010

Hello my friends.

:)

2nd goal was a foul, 90% of time the kicked ball to the hand is called (correctly so).

The ref didn't overly help Inter. They got the Motta red card and almost all foul calls were called, nothing strange. If Inter would have lost then Inter fans would be complaining about the ref (opposed to Barca fans now).

Motta was dumb, he already had a yellow and he shouldn't have had his arm out, however if he didn't mean it then I forgive him.

I will laugh my ass of if Inter(or Bayern) complete the triplet, owning Barca's self masturbating hype.

Soccer fans are very dumb at times, they all act the same in the same instances however all that depends is whether it is THEIR team or the OTHER team... most sport fans are very hypocritical. Don't take things so seriously.

The defense Mourinho employed was some of the best I have ever seen. Mourinho was able to get the Inter squad focused in their strength (defense), something I haven't seen that well done in past CL years. Lucio and Samuel were perfect defensive pillars, very impressive.

The final I think is 50/50. Bayern seem to have better attacking fluidity while Inter have an advantage on the tactical side.

Oh and, Maicon > Alves.

Self masturbating? Is there any other kind?

And you guys need to separate your criticism of the team from the fans. Guardiola has been the embodiment of humility since he took over, and his players have acted in kind (until Valdes lost his head on Wednesday...).

The only "self masturbating" that has taken place has been by the fans, and they've behaved as any fanbase would behave after winning six trophies in a year.

If you want "self masturbating," look no further than Mourinho.

Ajax beat the **** out of Inter in the 70s despite them playing catenaccio. Maybe the Catalans shouldn't have been jerking each other off about how legendary their team was just yet.

We also won the match. 1-0.

Not always, he was pretty idiot in the youth, especially the first season with Van Gaal, when he sent him back to Barça B and Valdés denies to train.

Valdes was only trying to stop an idiot who was provoking 98 000 fans and many others on TV with the way he was celebrating.

Valdes is an awesome person and has always been so.

? Its common practice to go celebrate with your fans after a big game victory? Not to mention the fact that its no hidden secret that Mourinho likes to do just that. No big deal.

Wow bybuti.. he did hurt you didn't he?? of course he was running across the pitch, but to his fans. Maybe for all future matches, they should just put the away fans right next to the away team as to avoid future confusion. would that be better??

lol, yeah he was running to his fans not the home crowd. Perfectly normal given the hight of the occasion. They just beat the European sextuplet champions. Not a every day event.

I love the fact that some Barça fans around here are managing to make us counter-argue against a team that we actually love watching, just because, well, they're not the brightest lot.

Speaking of Pep, one of his decisions that puzzled me was why did he bring on Jeffren instead of Henry. I'm sure with Inter pegged back, Henry would've been able to conjure up something special, sure he's probably been poor this season, but he is capable of coming up with the goods when needed.

Jeffren on the hand lacked Champions League experience and he was a virtual passenger for the vast majority of the game.

I've seen Mourinho celebrate many times and that's what it looks like.

The fact that you think that what fuels Mourinho is Barca just shows how delusional and egotistical you are.

You should keep in mind that the most unsporting act of the night was the sprinklers being turned on. Frankly, I'd be ashamed if Chelsea did something like that.

Just it's common practice to behave well (like a human being) while you celebrate and not provoke anybody. Mr. Jose Mourinho didn't do that.

There have been cases where certain players were punished because they provoked opponent fans.

These players have been punished because they celebrated disrespectfully towards the opposition fans. Mourinho didn't do that. he celebrated towards HIS fans. I remember him doing that against United but I have nothing against that even though that got me irritated. Thats his celebration for god's sake! Everyone is not making a fuss about that, even Arnau and the rest. Its normal to celebrate after a win. Different people celebrate differently!

Valdes is the MORON for stopping him from celebrating towards HIS Inter fans. Who does he think he is??? He has NO right of preventing Mourinho to celebrate.

Whatever he did.

He was running like a crazy idiot across the pitch.

You think that's normal behavior of a coach?

Yes its NORMAL to be overjoyed at reaching the final. Isn't it?

EDIT: his celebration against United. That was at Old Trafford as well. I wanted to throw the remote to the TV when he did that.

EDIT: just realised I didn't read that last page.

See? Everyone can be overjoyed at times... :) I think you are just overeating.

That's hilarious. It's also exactly how I would act in the same position. ****, I run across my apartment when I get a big goal in Football Manager.
