If Giggs hadn't of pulled his hamstring at the same time as the goalkeeper challenged him, I very much doubt whether he would have gone down at all. Giggs is NOT a diver. The referee was unintentionally decieved by the incident, and in the heat of the moment it was perhaps understandable that he gave the penalty. If you pull a hamstring running at speed as did Giggs, you will go down like a sack of spuds. There is nothing you can do about that.

Explain to me how it wasn't a penalty. Boruc ran into Giggs. He fouled him in the box, penalty. Giggs went over rather easily, but he got injured there aswell so...i dunno.

Stone wall penalty though. Harsh yellow for the keeper.

riiiiittttteeee - if you bothered to take off those Sky Blue goggles, you'd see he didnt dive. his hamstring went on him and he hit the deck. was a penalty because the goalkeeper made contact. harsh but rules are rules (not that the ref enforced them particulary well.) you win some you lose some.
