UEFA CL 04-05 Plugins Loader & Asset Loader

UEFA Champions League 04-05 ASI Loader is an extension to UEFA Champions League 04-05 which gives an ability to load/attach custom plugins (files with .asi extension) to the game process.

UEFA Champions League 04-05 Asset Loader is an .asi plugin which gives an ability to load assets (.o models, .fsh textures, etc.) from data/assets folder (instead of zdataX.big files).
Just put files you want to add/replace, into data/assets folder.

Custom Text Loader.
Note: the plugin is currently not available.

UEFA Champions League 04-05 Custom Text Loader is an .asi plugin which gives an ability to load text from .tr files. .tr files are new "translation" files where you can put your text. It's also possible to replace existing translation entries. Originally, text is stored in data/cmn/fe/<language>.db files.

.tr files must be saved in ANSI encoding. The game doesn't support unicode and cyryllic symbols, by default.

.tr files must be placed inside "plugins" folder (subdirectories are possible, for example: "plugins/mytext/text.tr", "plugins/my/text/text.tr")

The general format is following:

Simple - put custom text at id 139

CL 04/05 doesn't have a language selection dialog as in FIFA games, and it created some problems for me...

I already deleted it from download.
It's not working at the moment.

CL 04/05 doesn't have a language selection dialog as in FIFA games, and it created some problems for me...

It is possible to set AVAILABLE_LANGS code in locale.ini. But you have to set the ChampionsLeague2005.exe file as administrator.

Found one thing in your Asset Loader that upsets me. Although for many people it will be insignificant...
With anti-aliasing turned on in the game, the picture is a little ruffled and does not look very nice. Without Asset Loader, the picture is more pleasant, there are no small artifacts on the edges of models and textures.
I wanted to take a screenshot to demonstrate the difference.
But it turned out that the difference is noticeable only in the gameplay. You can only notice image artifacts in motion!
One more thing to be said, as this game does not officially support anti-aliasing, to enable it I have to resort to the built-in tool in the Nvidia drivers

So you see it in-game but can't make a screenshot? AA is a thing which will be visible on a screenshot, no matter if there's movement or not.
Also I can try to enable AA in the plugin.

Yes, this effect is shown at the included anti-aliasing. But this is not visible on the screenshot.
Can I ask you to add anti-aliasing support for Asset Loader? I would like to see how it will look like.

In addition, I'm currently working on FIFA 06 and the 2006 FIFA World Cup, which has already added support for widescreen resolutions and significantly improved graphics. But I haven't published my work yet. Can I expect an Asset Loader for them too? He would be very useful.

Asset Loader was updated. New features were added:

- Models and textures of different size
- Custom headlods and hairlods
- Increased total/texture memory limit
- Increased number of files in big/fat
- Increased jersey font quality
- Fixed "Requires Hardware Acceleration"
I added converted faces from eFootball 2023 to the game just to test new capabilities. Loading 3 MB Arnold face worked well. Custom headlod also worked.
