UEFA CL & Europa League Patch

Hi all,

I have the plan to make a patch regarding UEFA clubs competitions.

I plan to add teams from others countries that could be added to ROW league, and linked only to UEFA CL & Europa League tournaments.

Can someone help me or confirm me these functions?

As it is not possible to add a new league, I want to place the new teams into
Rest of World section and modifiy the structure of European Cups only to add
preliminary rounds on which those teams will play, is that possible?

Later, if it works, I planned to do the same and add teams to Copa Libertadores and World Clubs Cup, and if possible create AFC CL & African CL.

I also have an idea to add teams linked to ROW sections for countries existing, and add them to national cups in order to expand them by modifying existing cups (for example start Copa del Rey in Spain with a round of 64 clubs).

If you mess with the structure of the Champions league or Euro league you will have crashes, take it from someone who has spent many hours trying. Plus you will have to rewrite the entire compdata table and all other tables which just isn't going to happen. The ROW teams(All 4 Greek teams) use a "special teams" command which sends those teams into both tournaments. You could mess around with this portion of the tournament.

I failed miserably fifaCCitiu, I actually tried it last year and I did it several different ways but each way it eventually caused crashes. Some were crashes in year 2 and some were in year 3 or 4. I tried to rewrite the entire compdata table to make it work but never was successful. I found even editing the tasks to much to change who gets into a default tournament or editing the schedule will cause crashes as well. This years game seems more stable so it may be worth a try for someone like yourself but its a lot of work for a newbie take on.

guyz, maybe you know the way to edit tournament match intros? if you're gonna edit the UCL/UEL, then it's a must

Mee too.I tried this year to edit both competion but it crash when, at beginning of career mode, i make the draw for UCL and EU groups. If I go straight to career mode, it show in competition table but there will not matches.

Maybe we should create it from 0 and put in compdata (after Creation Centre ids) and disable it. Then give the id of CL (223) at the new created competition.

Well I just found out more bad news, last year when me and reg made the huge South American patch we felt we hit the limit in the compobj at 1700 because anything over that was crashing. Well in my new patch I barely went over that limit and had crashes so after talking with Baddie he confirmed the limit was around 1640 and he was having the same crashes trying to develop his new CM program which means we have no room to add hardly anything. So frustrating!

Because I wanted to expand the Spanish Copa del Rey with those teams...

But they are only linked to Rest of World. They told it is not possible to link them to European Cups.

If yes can someone help me to link those teams or more to UEFA Champions league, UEFA Europa League, Copa Libertadores and Copa del Rey de Espana?

But is this possible to have career mode working?

Maybe manager mode off but career mode must work.

I plan to add more but I'm a bit on a pending status.

I also hoped to merge this with Tanzanellie International Trophy to have all working in career mode (and maybe add a few more International Teams to his patch from Asia and Americas...)

Those teams are from the UPL patch or you made them from scratch?

No, the Ukrainian teams don't come from the Ukraine patch, I created them manually one by one.

I have now added also:

MFK Ruzomberok
Slovan Bratislava

I plan to update the CL & Europa League at first, but can someone help me?

Is it possible to modify it and make it work in career mode?
If we add leagues (except to compobj limitation at around 1670) how many new leagues and new tournaments can we add to career mode?

What is really the compobj limitation if we reduced some others tournaments?
(for example I wanted to reduce Polish cup to start only at 1/2 finals to win compobj lines...)

If someone can help me creating the tournament and make them work in career mode, I'll release the work with new ROW UEFA Clubs at first, update Champion's league and Europa League, and maybe new tournament like FIFA World Club Cup (with basic format waiting to add new teams later but at least working tournament)
