I think Rangers are getting a lot of unfair criticism for their style of play. Yes, it's incredibly boring and unattractive, but Rangers are playing to their strengths. And so far, it's worked, so why should they change their system? They've beat Lyon, Bremen, Panathanaikos, Sporting and now Fiorentina using it, so they've obviously found a system that works for them.
Now, the players that played last night, aren't great players. They're not world beaters. That's why they can't go out and play like Barcelona. They've not got the attacking players at their disposal for them to do it.
Considering the injuries they've got (about 9 first picks i think) I'm amazed they've reached the final. Hell, I'm sure they're amazed they reached the final. I know I've spoken to fans who are astounded considering the way they've played, and how horrible a season they had last year.
I say more power to them. And I'm sure they won't play like they did last night in the final, they'll attack a bit more, since it's a final and it's a one off. They've also got some players returning from injury.
