UEFA EURO 2012 actually from EA Sports

On fifaseries.pl we received news about EURO 2012 The Game. EA Sports always make game for World Cup or Euro, but no this time. Currently in development by Double Helix Games and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is not confirmed but if somebody will confirm it will be big punch from EA to us.

But there is a good news, in this topic http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3186466#post3186466 we are starting new project to FIFA called UEFA EURO 2012 Patch. Anybody can help, everybody will be in credits abd patch will be uploaded on every FIFA Site in the world. What do you think ?

The link from wikipedia just says that WB will manage the entire liscencing campaign for UEFA. There's no specific reference to any video game (only except the link that I posted), nor more importantly, to any specific game producer...

So I wrote that info is not confirmed by EA Sports. It is also possible that somebody added info on wikipedia because wanted to make sensation. On Warner Bros or Duoble Helix there is not info about game,. Only on FIFAPolonia.pl :) I believe that is only gossip and bad joke.

I wouldn't like EURO as a DLC, make a new game (if possible not with Impact Engine :innocent_smile_1:). I really hope it wont be DLC, it never was.

Well we have no confirmation of an actual publisher whether EA Sports or someone else. Everything untill then is just speculation.

I think this is not good if we still don't have any official confirmation about this game (developer, release date etc.). Last "tournament games" were annouced already in January (Fifa WC 2012, Uefa Euro 2008) - the games were released in April/May. Now we are less than 3 monts before opening game in Warsaw of Euro 2012 and we don't know if official game will be released. If the game would have been in production - we would have known about this fact. Nobody will create a football game in 2 months. I'm afraid that official game will not be released - maybe we well get some DLC or patch for FIFA 12.

Well just because they haven't announced anything doesn't necessarily mean that they haven't been working on it before hand.
