At 11:50 AM UK time it only lists console from the download now section of the site, I can imagine the roll out will delay becuase maybe they are warey of hacks/edits on PC so roll out consoles first to get the purchases and PC last?

Seems that 8:00AM time was for consoles at the moment, then again technically today doesn't end until midnight so they can roll it out anytime today.

Not exactly, because in the 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP SOUTH AFRICA we been able to play with any team in the online tournament.

I took the plunge and bought this assuming (I know, never assume) that you would be able to control VP only. Seeing as I spent my entire time on FIFA 12 playing VP career, VP ranked and pro clubs, I thought surely with so many pro modes they wouldn't forget to give you the option in the DLC. For me, this was a waste of money; I don't play as the whole team and unless I've missed something (which is entirely possible, correct me if I'm wrong) that's what every game mode requires you to do. However, if you're someone who plays as the entire team, I can really see this being worth it. Group stage + knockout round means it's more games than I think some people realise, no qualifying stage doesn't mean a 5-6 game tournament. At full retail there's no way this would have been acceptable, but along side FIFA 12 it adds a few other methods of play.

There's a tournament mode, as you'd expect, and you can play in online tournaments. But arguably the biggest draw (and weirdest, presentation-wise), is the new Expedition mode, in which you'll either import your FIFA 12 Virtual Pro or pick a European player, and build your own European national team (like our tiny nation of Nuovo Italia, captained by Andrea Pirlo) to compete against real-world countries

So im lost, are we getting people who are reporting things before checking? Im less interested at the moment.

1.) no Qualifying Stage
2.) 10+ teams not licensed (including co-host Poland)
3.) not able to handpick your national team´s squad players
4.) no proper online mode
5.) not able to play more than 1 team in the tournament´s final stages
6.) an "Expedition Mode" which is completely out of place in a EURO game (what about CYC ?)
7.) Not able to play "Be Your PRO"

More:

- You can't control more than one team in the tournament. On WC2010 one of the best things to do was play a full tournament with every team controlled so you play every single match as one of the teams.
- No qualifying (which we knew about)
- No play a friend online
- No option to edit players e.g. boots, shirt length etc.
- No chance to watch highlights back + save them after an online match. I've scored some great goals and wanted to upload but not been able to go back at the end to get them.

It seems I would have thought native modes in Fifa12 would adapt into the DLC seeing as its integrated into the game menu, but it looks like the cut back for DLC is out of balance for those wanting the great modes of Fifa12 working on Euro2012, looks liek a world of its own under a nice button in Fifa12 menu.

Read this thread a page or so back shows to find it under the game launch updates section.

But ... check my previous posts and EA links to feedback, I would at worst wait, or at best ... wait a long time

Seems not only does it keep to its own restricted modes separate from Fifa12 to the point of, well .. restrictive ... it has a few bugs to Iron out too:

Some more no's ...

- Unable to edit the squads like you can do in the main game (select from national pool) / Not able to handpick your national team´s squad players

- No way to edit default formations or starting 11
- No qualifying (was in 2010, why take it out?)

- An "Expedition Mode" which is completely out of place in a EURO game (what about CYC ?)

- Same soundtrack (on the wiki there was a new track list)

...and even it's not working. In the UEFA EURO 2012 menu it say you need to buy the DLC.
