umm..the game is not smooth..

can anyone help me out... i updated game with the official konami patch and used rivatuner to change Minmap to maximum.

although the game is not slow anymore, its not smooth.... when a player runs his speed is constantly changing... for abt 1-2 seconds he sprints then continues in normal spd then sprints again..etc..

how do i solve this problem? shud i download the detonator drivers?

when do this slowdown generally occur? is it in the midfield, or into the penalty areas?

normally along the flanks when i m heading towards the penalty area... sprinting(R1)

is the game smooth for u guyz?

please disable your sound card from your system manager (if you don't know how to do it I can explain) and then try again, and inform me about the result please. I'll be roaming for about another half an hour from now on, we can solve this and please write down your system specs.

Geforce2 Mx 200
2.2Ghz


well i know my card is outdated but ppl with that kind of system specs still experience smooth gameplay..

I thought that the problem was the sound card but konami says that even the geforce4 is outdated, so it's normal I think.

right click on my computer>properties>hardware>device manager>sound, video and game controllers

right click on your sound card and "disable"

the same fashion for enabling also.

i tried CM4speeder but the program aint workin for me... it says "cant find hook.dll" although the file IS there

I can't help anymore, I assumed that you have at least the minimum recommended config. konami announced that even a geforce4 is not enough to play this game. also your ram is very low if you have xp as an o/s. you should get some ram and a graphics card.
