Blanco can't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Ronaldo.

As it stands, Ronaldo is one of the best to ever play...imagine what he would've done had he not blown his knee out, what, 3 or 4 times?

Blanco is a fatass who can't run...there is a reason he plays in MLS and not Europe.

Blanco doesn't even come close to Ronaldo...Blanco is a cheating pig! Enough said about him!

Did you guys see the Honduras vs Costa Rica game result? Costa Rica got ass raped!! Why?? bc they are not in the Ricardo Saprissa! I have said this and I will say it again: Costa Rica will fumble playing away games!(Y) 4-0 is a bad result!!

How does Mexico allow Blanco to play when he's that fat?

Totally my thoughts too. This might have been excusable 3 years ago, but Mexico have some REALLY good options in attack. Vela, Neri, and some of the other subs are really good players and don't deserve to get put on the bench for Tec Blanco. As a US fan, I'm not going to complain, but I just don't understand.

Gio, Guardado, and Neri should play all the time. Those guys create really dangerous chances out of nothing.... although I didn't really see the unibrow do too much yesterday.

I disagree about Nery...that bitch doesn't even deserve the call up..He barely plays with his team and when he plays for Mexico he doesn't do anything relevant other than bitching and fighting with the opposite team players. He should have been sent off yesterday. I really hate that bastard!

Maybe true. I don't have a memory of him doing anything for a few years.

He hasn't since the Copa American in Venezuela...since then all he's done is pick fights.

Mexico's problem right now is that we have many creative players, (Gio, Vela, Guardado, Nery, Juarez, Cuauh) but no true striker. So they'll run all over and create good chances, but they don't get anywhere.

What's sorely needed is a finisher. It was obvious Guille couldn't hack it. He plays better behind a striker, and there are many that can do that. So there isn't much need for him. For now Sabah would be the best choice... and using that term loosely.

Edit: Nery's honey moon with the NT should be pretty much over in my opinion. Vela is a much better, faster, younger, technically sound and with way better attitude than him. And unless they play Nery as a striker, I think Vela can pretty much replace him.

First thing I said to my buddy yesterday when I saw the line-ups was: "Cherundolo over Spector and Ching over Altidore??? WTF??"

I knew right off the bat that those would be weak links. I've never liked Cherundolo and he just increased that feeling by getting absolutely run over by Guardado on the left side. Ching was useless, it's like we were playing with ten men out there. Why in the f*ck did Bob Bradley not stick with the squad that beat Egypt, Spain and nearly beat Brazil? Why tamper with that defense?

Sometimes I feel like it would definitely be better if they just gave him the boot. It's like he feels like HE HAS to tamper with the squad no matter what and 99% of the time he makes f*cking horrible decisions.

Definitely agree, although I don't think anyone on our team can handle Guardado. Jozy on the bench was an embarrassing choice. Why the **** do bums like Conor Casey and Brian Ching get called up. I never understood why you would want a guy "who can hold up the ball" if that's his only skill. Sure it's nice when Drogba does it, but Drogba is really good at a million other things. It's not like the US ever keeps possession anyway. That's the american style of play: impatient.

LOL so true, Ching was a disgrace......that's all that could be said, he really took away from our effort...I thought Davis was pretty good thought he looks like a solid starter

So I just heard about the game...I made this to sum up my thoughts.

It's unexplainable how some of the best players of the US NT end up being on the bench like Spector and Altidore. Altidore is becoming a top striker and has proven time and again how lethal he can be. Why bench him in favor of a mediocre MLS player?

No wonder donovan looked so slow on that second goal we gave up, that dude was by himself six-8 feet from goal. I'm worried for donovan now.

That said, he still had an assist. He's hands down the best this country has ever produced.

Yep. I was watching yesterday just thinking "god, what I wouldn't give for someone like dos Santos or Guardado". Donovan's good, but we've never had a player THAT good with the ball on his feet.
