Unlocking kits/boots etc...

I see that if you go to the Fan Zone within the game you can trade in points to get things like 3rd kits, boots, balls, etc...but it doesn't explain how you earn points...?

So how do you earn points so you can get that stuff? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me here...

lol man, you can unlock those things before completing the challenges.

yeh but they give you bugger all points and it costs SOOO MUCH!

each 3rd kit is 7500 points and iv played a full season and bit and i won the league cup and quater final of the FA and 2nd in the premier league and i only got 5500 points so far?
