Updated demo with full English commentary

Konami has released an updated demo (local US mirrror ~ 270MB) (now with full English commentary) for Pro Evolution Soccer 5, giving the chance to try out this upcoming soccer simulation game. As before, the demo allows you to play a match with: Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Valencia. The demo can also be downloaded from Tiscali Games.

exe is better, also 0_text.afs is little changed in some file, now the gameplay is better!!! More playable also when you use player to dribble with ball...

there is a lot of patch going out lately.. and surely the name is confusing enuff... is there any patch for the OFFICIAL PES5 DEMO 2 (with commentary) out ?? not the WECN PLUS DEMO...

Yes that would be nice, tried to reinstall the trainer, but does not work

About the commentary demo

commentary seem to be up with the play now, also seems to be in sync with what is happing on the pitch, rather than getting a comment that wasn't relevent to the play in pes 4, i got called for dangerous play (high foot) don't remember this in pes 4, so from the snipit in this new demo, things are looking good on the commentary side

No trainer, but you can unlock your new PES5.exe (6.30mb), with an Hex editor; I used Hex workshop:

With Hex worskshop
open your PES5.exe and go to EDIT MENù.

select GOTO

insert as HEX STRING: 00050312

rewrite 1 with 0 and SAVE as in image:




Now your Menù are unlocked! :sun:

It always surprises me how Konami announces those demos, nothing on their website and the only good download locations I found so far are in Slovakia and Czech republic...
