Gooooooooooooooo Aussies!!! :lui:

My friend is living in Australia so I have to cheer you guys on. Plus you got some real quality players. Australia should definitely be in Germany. Socceroos 4-3 on aggregate.

uruguay will go to germany , australia has a better team than the lastest qualifiers but Uruguay too, for me (im uruguayan) is the best uruguay ive ever seen, with lots of talented players. Australia with hiddink is much better but than farina´s one but uruguay will pass.

remember this name for the second match (he cannot play the first one): Diego Lugano

Go Uruguay!!! I think this team is full of great players and could give a nice spectacle in the WC. Plus they have 2 madridistas (H)

Ruben Sosa

El Jovato
I say:

Uruguay 2-0 Australia
Australia 1-1 Uruguay

And Forlan will start today. But even if he wasn't, we have several strikers capable of replacing him.

I hope Australia wins for the sake of SG forums.

This forum would not survive another wave of pasion1's nationalistic threads.

That's hilarious, but you weren't here last time. Go check the archive for Australia from November 2001 onwards for a real wave of nationalistic threads.

Goddamn Argentinian bastards let them win 1-0 on the last game of the tournament..... I hope they both fail misserably

Ruben Sosa

El Jovato
Let us win...

I suspect Brazil gifted us the draw in Curitiba, and Calero allowed Zalayeta to score that last minute goal against Colombia too, because there's no way Uruguay could have accomplished anything by itself...

Last time Australia decided to let us win too, no doubt.

Wish I was at Federation Square to watch this :(

But due to the time changes, no train runs early enough to get their before kickoff, otherwise I would miss the opening 30minutes. Will be their on Wednesday though.

Good luck to both teams, Its time.

Pablo Garcia :rockman: :lui:

nice first half... Uruguay was too nervous at the beginning, and with Forlan's injury things were worst, but in a brilliant fk by Recoba, Rodriguez scored a great goal (Y).

Is Chevanton on bench? Fossati should replace Morales, he didn't do **** in the first half  and Uruguay needs a faster forward.
