I think it's better to just have the Gold Cup every 4 years, but if you are going to play every 2 years it makes sense to have a playoff between the two winners.

Site is TBA but the Pasadena City Council announced they'd approved an unnamed soccer event for October 9th so it looks like the Rose Bowl.

Ideally it'd be at a neutral site like Toronto or Port of Spain but I understand the financial aspect.

It would have been nice to get a couple bullshit penalties too.

I would rather get an embarrassing loss to Panama than getting to the final through the back door and with help from the bouncer.

I think I'm gonna come out of retirement and turn the US National Team into a contender.

It's my patriotic duty.

It's a double whammy. He doesn't do tactics well and our player development sucks (we just got pasted by France in an U20 match too). We lose Bradley and we rely on a 35 year old that Germany didn't want and an aging Kyle Beckerman.

The whole system is pretty shitty.

anyone heard rumors the us soccer federation would consider hiring the famous ex Mexican national team coach, El Piojo Hererra???

I would be excited in Mexico's U17 performance but it has almost zero implications on the senior squad since no players have panned out in the past successful generations.
