I'd put money on half of those guys being in the starting XI for their respective clubs next year.

Then we have Jay Denny, who plays for Stoke City in The Championship (old Division 1) in England and goalkeeper Quentin Westberg who plays for a second-division French club.

Good players who are absent:

Jonathan Spector (Man U)
Eddie Gaven (MetroStars)
Damn! No wonder in Spanish they call the US NT "El equipo de todos" frk'n all players are foreign players:rofl: (For those who dont know what that means it means "Everybody's team"

ChivaGirl150, the only player from that list who was born outside of the US is Freddy Adu.

Think before you post, dumbass.

that wasnt the point [run dmv]...its the fact that so many of the players are first generation us citizens...and dont even think about the country that their parents came from...I know my brother would personally play for mexico(he was born in the u.s.)...he has both the u.s. and mexican citizenships...;) ...you probably still dont understand this...do you???

If a player is born in the USA, he is American. End of story. English is his first language. He was brought up in the US. He learned to play soccer in the US. Therefore, the player is a product of US soccer.

That's your brother's problem. If a player feels American, he will play for the US and not for his parent(s) country.

Take Memo Gonzalez for example. You think the USSF is holding a gun to his head forcing him to play for the US instead of Mexico? The kid made his choice: he feels American, he's a product of the US soccer youth programs, so he plays for the US.

This is so obvious, I can't believe I have to explain this to you:

If a first or second-generation immigrant plays for the United States of America, it is because that person feels American. If that person feels American, that person IS American.

The above should be common sense. The only people to who this isn't common sense are you and Wankoff150.

Speaking of that, what does the 150 stand for, Blanco150's SAT score?

You people are giving me a headache with your stubborn idiocy.

WOW! You understood on the first try congrats RunDmb, Wait, you were one of those earlier numbnuts that did not understand what a Mexican-American was? I think it was you. Hey as long as you understand and also that you just made others understand that just cuz we are Mexican does not mean we weren't born in the USA. I was born in the USA but I choose Mexico over USA anytime. And that is how I feel and nobody can take that away:rockman:

If you had any talent or athleticism, somebody might actually care where your allegiances lie.

We're not talking about you, we're talking about the US U-20s, a team of Americans.

So, let me get this stright.

The USA is a nation of immigrants, yet you think that it's national team shouldn't reflect it's culture?

You sir, are a dumbass.
