using faces for players with generic faces not working?

Hai,

After reading and looking and learning how to use the DB and file master etc I saw on the forums that it was possible to use faces from players on another player with a generic face and change the texture with texture editor.

Now I managed to use the DB master to change the headtypecode from generic to specific of a certain player then exported the 5 files (eyes, hair files, head & face) from another player that has a face that kinda looks like him to the data\sceneassets\faces - hair etc maps and change the ID in the name of the files (eg: eyes_206026_0_textures.rx3) to the ID of the player I want to use the face and regenerated (didnt edited the texture yet).

Now at this point the player with the generic face now uses a real face from another player right? or not? cause now my FIFA keeps crashing when I'm playing with that player and I'm forced to change the specific to generic again in DB master to let it work again. What am I doing wrong? can somebody help me out? or are there any tutorials how to use faces for players with generic faces?

ah okay thanks for the reply. Because I've seen screens in the faces sub forum of generic players with real faces from other players so I though it was already commonly known how to do this. I might ask them.
