Great match, Valencia continue to look solid.

Valdes really made a mistake there, but you can't deny that Villa really did a nice goal

Its a bit comforting to see Valencia back in the thick of the title hunt after last years drop off. Spain being a three horse race seems to fit quite a bit better than just a yearly war between Barca and Madrid

We'll have to accept that our goalkeeper will ruin all the games against Valencia. Valdés got his second assist of the season and Villa scored both.

I hope van Bommel is enjoying his vacations in Spain.

On the other hand.. Puyol was amazing.

Said that, Barça didn't deserve to lose the game.

Valencia deserved to win that game, even if their goal was pretty much a fluke. They had better chances on goal. Aimar was the man of the match in my opinion.

but barça weren't exactly 'full throttle'..although it doesn't take credit from valencia

Valencia played their game effectively - they probably would have won even without Valdez help :fool: . Barça could not do nothing, as there was no creative AMC to give headaches to Valencia defenders, and therefore Barcelona played very unlike Barcelona...

Nothing that could not be foreseen; only hope that those recent losses do not put the team off-tracks.

Yes, as the commentator was saying, they gave the ball to Barca, and waited for them to make a mistake, or to counter-attack them.

Barca is really suffering atm, but i know that when Dinho and Messi return they'll start winning again. I just hope they loose more points so that Valencia catch up.

The next Valencia vs Madrid game will be decisive if things continue the same way :jambo:

Ronaldinho and Messi would have improved our team today, but IMO the player Barça missed the most was Deco. The midfield was terrible. Eto'o had to come to the midfield because he didn't receive any ball. Iniesta can't be the responsible of the midfield, he's not up for that yet. He needs some help. VBommel.. no comment. With Xavi injured, we just can't play without Deco. I've always said that the couple Xavi-Deco is the key of our success.

Wow, Valdez really messed up. Obviously he wasn't thinking on that player. Even so, it was an entertaining match. Even so, GolTV should have shown the much more important Derby D'Italia live instead.
