Just a quick update of what im doing,i struggled to get the fa cup working without crashes so decided to create the fa trophy as a consolation,i feel i may have a solution for the fa cup and will keep working on it but till then here are a couple of screens from career mode with the fa trophy:

Cheers mate it's Allot of hard work but it's starting to pay off.
I have got the trophy working in career mode took Macclesfield to the final against altrincham took until the 88th minute to get a winning goal was pretty fun.squads and kits for the extra teams I've made are not done yet only the 6 teams I've put in the pool are done so far but I'm just going to make generic kits for now and release kits at a later date.if you need any help with league cup structure just give me a shout I will be happy to help.

How are you making your pool of teams work with promotions and relegations? Great idea to keep CM fresh every season.

Pretty simple created a new league without assigning it to a country so that its invisible when selecting a team then i created a new league competition in tournaments with 4 up 4 down between them and the national league,i did try other ways but nothing was working correctly only 1 or 2 teams would be promoted so i found this was the only way to make it work.

Ah, that would be the way!

Instead of an invisible league, I've been toying with the idea of extending my patch to include a National League 1 & 2.

My idea would be to take the 11th highest placed teams from the Conference North and South and combine them into one league (National League 1) and then dump the rest into National League 2. This can be done for the Northern/Southern Premier also and further down until we get a National League 12 or something.

The squads would have to be randomly generated as I'm not sure reliable data that far down would exist.

Seeing Forest in National League 12 would be something!

I like your idea of having teams all the way down to the county leagues represented in fifa but thats allot of work and like you say the data around for them leagues is not the most reliable i have made 1 team from level 11 afc mansfield and it was pretty hard to find squad data for them even with football manager maybe in the future i will look into lower than level 8 but for now im concentrating on the national league an then national league north & south which i think i may be able to get working in its proper format with 2 leagues of 22 but i will work on that more once i've finished the patch and maybe add it in at a later date.

Edit:oh an i forgot to mention if fawaz decides to leave forest and wants his money back we will probably end up having to start from scratch anyway in level 12 lol

Can't wait for this! Been waiting for over a year for something like this and great to see that when someone has finally do it, they're putting a lot of effort into it! Keep up the insane work and hope you manage to finish it. :)

i know how you feel kept an eye on 2 patches over the past couple of years only for nothing to come of them so decided to do it myself. not long now squads are done just waiting on a few kits to be released then good to go.

Cool download, has some potential. For now the squads are really unbalanced, but I can help you with that as I kept updating my database as well together with the minifaces from previous FIFA versions. I'm not a great kitmaker though, so we would team up a bit ;)

My view on the squads: Basically the starting 11 of the top National league teams are equivalent to the league 2 teams, but they lack a broad selection and thus have less choice of good players.

We might even end up with a big 3 leagues patch (south and north as well) if you're interested in that.(H)

I would love nothing more than to team up to make this patch as authentic as possible including north and south i have a feeling i may get them to work in career mode in its current format of two league promoting to one PM me.

Would be interesting to see how adding regional leagues would work in game.

How would you keep the balance in the leagues? If 3 Southern teams are relegated and only 1 Northern team, how is the balance kept?

I envisage you can add teams to a pool for certain leagues so keeping Northern teams in Conf. North and so on.

Although, having said that, it could be something to do with latitude/longitude of teams? It's got to be used for something.

Looking forward to seeing this.

i've managed to get national league north and south working by using one league and creating two groups each group with its own promotions but from what i can see its to do with team id's the lower id's go into the north and the higher into the south but that doesn't really help when it comes to teams who EA have already assigned id's too but at the moment its better than nothing and something to work on.

Hey guys just a quick update im concentrating on fifa 16 so i have updated the first page with a clean version no NEW PLAYER ETC just teams who have squads done i have also provided a cmp for those who wish to use the league in there own patch.
