Very Slow Loading Of FIFA 15

Had Fifa 15 since release, Origin download version, up until now no problems, last few days it takes about 4mins 40sec to load from when I click play until the choose language screen appears, any ideas anyone ?

There is an Origin repair option, try that. Any mods installed?

I uninstalled / re-installed, tried the repair option, no mods or anything.
once it eventually loads it runs fine, just a pain waiting when your used to it loading quickly.

So next I would try setting Origin to offline mode, and also disconnect your internet before starting the game. I play that way by default. I notice when I have Origin on, it takes much longer to load the game, 10-15 seconds. But when I am disconnected and start the game up, it registers as offline and then let's me continue on, takes 1 second at most.

If all else fails, you might want to try reinstalling Origin after backing up all your FIFA files.

actually this has been happening for me too. and my career mode tends to move really slowly (not transfer season). just the past couple of days. tried disabling origin too. didn't work. not a big issue. but a workaround would be welcome

EA Tiger Woods PC has a similar-sounding issue. As you progress in your golf career, the save file becomes so large that the game takes longer and longer to load between holes. The fix for that game is to set the two confidence files to read only. This prevents the game from attaching new info to that file, which keeps the file small and in turn fixes the issue of the slow load times. Maybe there's a similar fix that can applied to the career save file or maybe the container file.

BTW, this fix in TW PC only works before starting a career.

no, my hard drive has given up, when I tried starting the comp, so new hard drive ordered, trouble is all the stuff you lose, not sure if data recovery is worth the cost.

I see. This years saves aren't the same kind of files like the last few years, so it is a possibility
