I thought both Costa Rican goals should have been called back actually.

My concern with Germany was their willingness to go up the middle of the field instead of using the width to their advantage. Their first three goals came as a direct result of getting the ball to the flank, but even so they still wanted to go right up the middle of the pitch.

You can really tell the Germans have been working on long shots.

Do you guys really think the Costa Rican goals were offsides? I've seen the replays about 100 times now on ESPN with the digital yellow line added and both looked clean to me. On one of them the back on the other side of the field was way out of line on the trap so that's why it looked offside.
