and the s.h.i.t ref who favoured Argentina without a doubt. WTF happened to Fifa's new rules for shirt pulling, diving and kicking opponents? :nape:

Well Pete he dissalowed a goal from Argentina which was a sure goal, the ball was all the way across the line so favouring Argentina??

yeah WTF was Pekerboy thinking?? With Messi it would have been 4 to 0 easily

Yes, Messi is a great player and he could create havoc to the IC defence... but... I wouldn't say Argentina would've won easily even with Messi... and in another day, Argentina might have lost this game...

Strange referee decissions favouring Argentina (5+ clear fouls over Ivory Coast not given) & Sorin is a b!tch

What about the header from Ayala? it was a clear goal...

I think it was a very close match...anyone could won the game. But we had Crespo and Saviola and they only had Drogba up there...

It was not a clear goal at all. You want it to be, but it was not. Thats typical though. I would be the same if it was England. I'm not having a go but be more objective. I support my team like you do, but I do recognise when there is unfairness from officials. According to Fifa's new rules, you could / should, have had at least 2 guys sent off. The referee was soft on Argentina today. Hey, good luck with that. Thats the way it is sometimes. Just recognise the fact thats all.

Pede I wonder why I haven't seen you bitch about that play where some Paraguay player got isolated and was wrongfully called offside.

tehehehehe....*blushes* Yeah, I can tell that you're a very classy, well-bred individual just by your responses and avatar/sig.

Everytime I see your profile, I get an urge, an urge very much similar to the one I get when I'm either horny and a nice piece of ass is near me, or hungry and a piece of steak that's not mine is within my grasp, you know? I just get this overwhelming feeling to click your avatar. It's just hot delicious, bro. Did you design it yourself?

If i was you i would rather be worrying about England's players scoring goals by themselves than just disregarding Argentina's victory for a supposed "favouring" of the officials.:boohoo:

Now regarding the match, i believe they were correct playing against Angola, it did look like this match in the style of play, of course Ivory Coast has more skill.

Also scoring a third goal on when Argentina was doing fine on the second half, could've been the ending of the match, but the difference of 2 goals gave the ivorians hope, buit nevermind now to move on for the next match.

Pede, did you have too much to drink in Frankfurt?

I watched this game as a pure neutral and i thought the officiating was consistent with both sides. OK, there was some play acting but Argentina are renown for it and officials on the whole don‘t fall for it anymore. This ref was taking none of it and just let Sorin role on the floor making a fool of himself.

Fantastic match. Best of the WC so far.

no way, worst game so far after England-Paraguay.. Ivory Coast pretty much went to sleep between the time Argentina made it 2-0 and when Drogba scorred..

Interesting how people see things differently.

IMO the game was played in the right spirit, very open and a good tempo to it.

The general consensus with the English pundits, etc is that it was the best game so far.

Too add something else to all of those who think that Argentina is over. This was our first match, and sure we made a lot of mistakes, but it was clear that our players were very nervous. Our defense looked completely disoriented in the first half, but did a spectacular job in the second half until we lost possession of the ball and allowed IC to take the initiative. Had Messi gone in instead of Lucho Gonzalez we might have been talking about an extra goal or so. Argentina are not the only ones that didn't meet the expectations, England had a difficult time against Paraguay, Sweden against T&T and Germany had to struggle a bit against an amateurish Costa Rica.

Maybe you are right, but when he came in against Angola in the friendly, Argentina completely took control of the game and we easily could have scored two.

Angola is a bit different from Ivory Coast...

What else gives now? Messi didn't even play at all. However i still think that Tevez and/or Messi could have been useful to score a third goal and close the match, but nevermind probably the team knows what were their errors and they will keep working to solve them. Good work from the defense most of the match.

Great 1st half by us (Y)

Román :D 2 assists.

We fell asleep at about 60 minutes, and Pekerman made awful substitutions to make it worse :kader:

Why was Messi not brought on, he would have been the perfect sub because he can hold the ball.

Instead we bring Palacio, who was left to die (by himself up top)after we took out Saviola and we also brought in Lucho who is a right-sided player when we already had Maxi out there. And finally we bring on Aimar with 1 minute left. :nape:

Oh well, hopefully he learns.

I'll take the 3 points though :fool:

It's funny how Roman is the slowest ass player but he can put his body between the ball and his opponent the best i've seen anyone do, including armando
