I don't get it either. They toped a group including Spain and set a new European record for the least goals conceded in a qualifying round (one).

Nemaja Vidic.

I think the only way for England to meet Argentina is IF we both reach the final. Correct me if I am wrong though.

If England comes second on the group and somehow beats the first of the Germany group and Argentina as predicted will top their group you meet tham at the quarterfinals.

If you win the group wich most likely will happen you are up some serious Brazil facing issues. (Might be wrong on this one)

Canal 7 of Argentina says 25....

I went back and got 24 but didn't want to check the count!

Argentina had a fantastic game....and neither Riquelme nor Saviola scored..WOW!

The 2nd place team from the Group of Death could meet England in the quarters. Winner could ONLY meet England in the final.....there's the issue of that other team standing in England's way though..Brazil!

Well we are all very nice people aint we Omar. No need to rub it in to the poor guy. I dont think we could make him feel any worse than he does at the moment. :boohoo:

Shame. Congratulations Argentina. With Vidic and Dragutinovic in team, our defeat wouldn't be so big. Almost our record against Zaire in 1974 was beaten (9:0) :)

Wow the Serbs sure like to get scored on six times in big tourneys don't they...

Holland vs. Yugoslavia 6-1 (EURO 2000)
Argentina vs. Serbia & Montenegro 6-0 (World Cup 2006)

That's embarrasing, if you qualify you got to give it your best and if that's their best then how the f*ck do they keep qualifying?

That defeats are inexplicable, but sure it's not the matter of quality... Maybe it's because we were expecting too much from that competitions.
And we gonna keep qualifying. As Serbia from now on.

Nice job Argentina. I predicted them to win this WC with Messi as their player that would lead them to WC glory and it looks like that could happen. Nice goal by Tevez aswell...(Y)

Mean man just mean, nontheless made me crack out laughing mate.

Serbia just isn't Jugoslavia anymore. But i respect them for making it to the tournament even though Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia Bosnia Herzegovina aren't providing them with talent. Imagine if the same team had players like: Kovac, Prso, salihamidzic, Barbarez etc etc....

Nope. I'm not nice, and fu*ktards like kezwoman8* deserve to have it rubbed in. So here goes: The only reason the old Yugoslav teams were any good, was because they actually had some talent in the Croatian, Slovenian and other non-Serb players. The only reason this "Yugo" team even ranked high on FIFA's list, was because they got all the points earned by the old Yugo teams. But it's ok, teams like Croatia don't need it. We're doing fine without them...hell, we're doing even better. :D

Haha WOW!! That goal with Cambiasso is easily the team goal of the tournament. Better than Puyolinho's set-up for Spain.
