I watched the match in the house of an argentinian friend ... at the start of the match he said "si nos eliminaron a nosotros, que se vayan tambien las brasucas". I just laughed. Right now all make sense

Quietly and discretly France reaches the semis, and I think it's a very difficult team to beat right now. Very solid defense, an amazing midfield (Makelele, Vieira and Zidane are the best in the world in their positions), and maybe (surprisingly), a little bit weaker in the offense, despite Thierry Henry. Now, history is on France's side, we always lost against France, both in the 1984 and 2000 EURO's, but I believe that Portugal is able to beat the french. Very hard game in prospect though. Portuguese players have a lot of respect for the french side, and I know there won't be situations like the ones in the spanish and brazilian press, 'predicting' Zidane's last game.
Why do I think, and more important, why I believe we're gonna beat the french? Because Portugal deserves, finally, a little happiness. In 66 we lost in the semis against England, the future world champion; in 84 and 2000 the same, against France; and two years ago , against the poor poor side of Greece, in our home! Two many tears and decepcions deserve a reward!

there wasnt movimentation.. all players were like stucked in the grass..
at least when robinho played.. he tried.. but he was playing alone..
the guilt was of all players + coach..
the coach was dumb.. and the team played badly SUCK

EDIT: Yes, in case it was not clear i'm suspecting of the intention of an all european semi-final.
Once again i was right with the score but not about the referee besides some dives here and there he did good.
But i still suspect something about the second thing.

Brazilian fans shouldn't be very unhappy, at least it isn't like they got defeated by someone on penalties that was nerver better than them in whole match. Also this should teach Brazil to not let themselves overhyped specially from the foreigners.
What an incredible couple of days, 3 upsets out of the 4 games. France have just turned it on in their last 2 games and stunned even their own fans, i'm still finding it hard to believe a team led by Domenech has reached the semis and knocked off Brazil, but you could tell just by looking at the players' faces just how much they wanted the win.
The Brazilians were strolling around the pitch like they were on vacation, expecting to be handed the silverware at the end just for the trouble of turning up. Their midfield got owned despite playing 4-5-1, and their defence capitulated as soon as they came up against some quality opposition. They deserved to lose just for leaving Thierry Henry unmarked in the box. They've had a mediocre tournament and the only thing they've actually achieved is making Ronaldo the WC highest ever scorer.
Only yesterday people were talking of a Brazil-Argentina final, and an England-Brazil showdown in the semis, now it's an all European race to the title, and the underperforming and poorly coached teams are out. With their style of play I would fancy the French to overcome both Portugal and Italy, but if Germany can make it past their hoodoo team Italy then I expect the home fans to lift the Germans to win the cup.

i think brazil should just drop all the old people from the team (ronaldo, emerson, cafu, roberto carlos, etc, etc) and put some young people that have a hunger for glory, these players are 1)multi millionares and 2)already won world cups, champions leagues, etc, etc, they already have it all, whats their motivation?? that is what you could see in this match, even when they were losing they were all relaxed, passing the ball from side to side, it was pathetic.
