WC Quarter-Final: Germany - Argentina {P & R}

Greg, what do you mean with ****test team ?

And Seggie, don´t talk ****. After/with Argentina we was the best team in the WC. But hey, a Real Madrid fans said it. So it´s a lil bit funny. :(

I'm not talking sh*t. Germany won, so be it. You guys misunderstood me but its ok...It's a fact that this WC was demolished by racism, hatred and bad calls. Fifa Fair Play my ass. Theres no such thing as fair play in soccer anymore and this WC proved it without a doubt. Players diving like no tomorrow, players swearing at coaches, players throwing racist remarks about countries (and even coaches making racist remarks about players)... it was endless.

But hey, it's funny that racism has been a factor in Germany isn't it?

Podolski's "heil" was not with the left, it was with the right Vince. However, as I already said, it was clearly not his intent to make a Nazi gesture to the entire world. I'm just saying, it can be misinterpreted. I don't think he's a Jew, he doesn't look like any Jews I know.
It was with his left, i wouldn't be able to tell if he's jewish or not..oh well, i thought it was a fair match and that Argentina just had bad luck

Go Home, bad losers.

first of all, mature
second, germany never deserved to win, they were so lost, it was clear the superiority of argentina agianst them, we always had the ball and we always were in their side of the pitch.
what happened? well like always, the refery was on the side of germany, like it happend with italy, and so many others matches. every time argentina was close, and a germany made a fault, the refery didnt see anything or what is worst, he took yellow to our players

but well...
you cant be proud of winning that way.
on the other hand, here in argentina, we are angry and annoyed of that unfair result, but we are proud becouse we know that that match in fact was our, and im not talking just for me, i know that most of people fell that way.

good game, you played well, but never as well as we did.

why did klinsman took off Klose; ; it think germany couldt finish the game before the penaltys; by far klose and frings the best players in this world cup. iam happy my fellow countryman Osorio in going to play in germany with sttutgart.

i wont bash argentina cause they beat my country; but think mexico could give a better fight to gemany.

btw ;Heinze is a cancer in a real good competitive team like argetina i been saying this even before the world cup.

Bierhoff was wrong to make fun of argentina; thats why the brawl started; you should never make fun of the losing team imo; :boohoo:

Yeah germans celebrate while you can, because if Argentina is **** you are the biggest **** out there you couldn't outplay us and just won by penalties, so take care.:ewan:

andy, i believe you are being a bit harsh on Riquelme he had probably his best perfomance on this world cup.

Evidently we got bad luck, Pato's injury, notice the ref not calling foul there:kader:, Crespo's injury, Lucho's injury after the 3 subs were made, the ref being somewhat biased. But well we lost in penalties which is a lottery and evidently we didn't get the proper numbers, and i wouldn't really blame Pekerman becaus even with these players we still could have won the match without penalties.:jambo:

And also the problems started by a supposed provocation by Bierhoff just watch the germans covering him.:nape:

In all honesty, I believe the Argentine Coach, Pekerman comitted grave errors in the substitutions. Taking out Riquelme for Cambiasso turned out to be a disaster. Also, who is this Cruz player? All the Argentine stars were on the bench!? How can you put in a novice player while stars like Messi and Saviola are sitting on the bench in a World Cup QUARTER FINAL?

Too bad for Argentina, it was seriously bad luck after Abondanzierri had to go out with an injury.

Yeah, because Messi and Saviola are veterans.:boohoo:

Riquelme was tired apparently, Crespo injured so the closests thing to a "Crespo" in the bench is Cruz.

well i woulndt call it bad luck mate ; i would call it bad tecnique of taking penaltys ; if you review the penaltys argentina fail ; they were taken horrendously ; and i would not blame the subs either; cause you never know how subs are going to work i think pekerman knew better than you and me what he was doing;

and woulnt talk about the refs mate cause i remember some days a go againsnt mexico argetina was favor by the refs too.

but i do agree with you about bierhoff; shameless

First off...keeping Messi on the bench was the RIGHT move in this game. Messi was going to get owned around there. He is 19 now, and still hasn't developed completely. The towers, err should I say Germans would have manhandled the teen.

Aimar for Riquelme should've been the sub...not Cambiasso...Pekerman deserves the boot.

Well Cruz scored the first penalty of Argentina.:o

And Mexico vs. Argentina referee wasn't as half as bad as this guy but i don't think it favoured Argentina(if it favoured anything it was Mexico).

And about the Bierhoff, that's what i heard, that he started the mess.

Das Viertelfinale zwischen Argentinien und Deutschland hat einen unwürdigen Schlusspunkt gefunden. Mehrere südamerikanische Spieler griffen DFB-Teammanager Oliver Bierhoff an.

Translation (shortly):

After each of the German penalties, Argentinian players abused and insulted the German players. When Borowski scored, he made a gesture that they should be quiet now.
After the shootout Cufre probably confused Borowski with Mertesacker and kicked Mertesacker on the leg (instead of Borowski :D). The ref gave Cufre the red card, and Mertesacker says "He kicked me, but he got punished by the red card so it's all finished for me. It doesnt matter where he hit me ..."
Bierhoff was attacked by other players when he wanted to defend his players and to arbitrate the dispute between Mertesacker and Cufre. He also got kicked and got some small injuries, too. He said "I'm quite sad about that. The fans are celebrating this worldcup peacefully, and the players should do the same ...".

each side has his own version of the story, so it's kind of useless to discuss who started it.....it's part of the past now anyway.
