WC Quarter-Final: Germany - Argentina {P & R}

ShiftyPowers

Make America Great Again
Why don't you post pictures of Maxi Rodriguez shouting at Jens Lehmann after his penalty. Because I've heard that started it and Borowski was responding to both that and the pathetic attempt to taunt the Germans. Honestly, you think the Germans will wilt under pressure by being told their moms are whores in spanish? No, they'll just go blitzkrieg on your ass and then rub it in your douchebag face.

Make America Great Again
I was just watching the Penalties and ensuing fight for the first time since the game ended and noticed two things:

1) Podolski's heil was actually him blowing a kiss. The camera shows Podolski in a very long shot and it's tough to make him out because he's small, but you can see him kiss his hand and then go to hold it out. Then the camera changes exactly when his arm is extended to the crowd into a closeup.

2) If you watch the 7:11 version on youtube, fast forward to the 6:00 mark exactly. At 6:01 Maxi Rodriguez flies in from the left side and drills Schweinsteiger. I haven't seen this reported anywhere, but it looks like a lot of blood splatters from Schweinsteiger's head. I can't explain what I'm seeing any better, Maxi makes contact and instantly you see a big splatter of red. It looks like he opened his head up. Seriously, look at it yourself.

Ok..? He can't do that celebration? People do it all the time, Henry for one does it a lot to away fans, does the other team start acting like ****in idiots and having some random kick another player? Class acts from argentina (Y)

really, cut the whinning already.
it's time for you guys to move on, Argentina will surely be back in 2010 with a squad filled with great players yet again and ready to try their best in order to become World Champions.

Sorry, I was not trying to whine. I was just trying to show that itwas not just Argentina who was being violent like just about everyone in the world thinks. It shouldn't be just us taking all the blame.

Because I don't have any pictures of that.

and lastly a video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBDN9jh1sw4

I am pretty sure Frings gives Cruz a left hook, which if that is the case Fifa will surely ban Frings, and if they don't it will show how corrupt FIFA is to the home country

Good Job Italian FA :jap:
Julio Cruz denied that he was hit by Frings. Who's the accuser in this case, the Italian FA?

Frings suspended for one game. Great job Italy, hypocrisy at its best. They have the biggest scandal of the history of football at home and they got nothing better to do than worry about the Germany-Argentina game.

Well extra motivation for the German players if that's even needed and a great chance for Borowski or Kehl to prove themselves.

It was the right thing to do by Fifa, and I am sure our players will have worse penalties.

Is Kehl more defensive than Borowski, I think Borowski and Ballack are about the same type of player.

Hendrik

Kehl is a natural dm, he's pretty useless going forward.

1. hey'll be suspended for some rather unimportant qualifying matches
2. Cruz, the supposed victim, said Frings didn't throw a punch at him

so how much did the Italian Mafia FA pay this time? :-puke:

I hope this isn't the evidence they used to suspend Frings :|
obviously fake, I mean his arm can't be the size of a leg.

and Cruz said he wasn't hit....what do people need more?
f'cking disgrace.

still, with that pic people can only speculate.
I think that after Cruz said he wasn't hit the case should be closed.

the former president of the Italian football federation is the key behind all this and the person who encouraged the FIFA to heavily pursue it. The guy retired because he was involved in the Italian football scandal but is still in Fifa comitee and a very close friend of Blatter.

Vince, can you give me the link for the source of that?

Here in argentina we always say ''What happen in the pitch, stays in the pitch''. Maybe thats why Cruz said he wasnt punch...

Anyway, bad move by Italy...

FIFA didnt do anything with Grosso and Cantalejo reff. Even worse they gave him another match (Brazil vs. France)...

And Frings...come on, you just win the match, you are in the semi, what the hell he was thinking...?!
