If he was an average footballer like 90% of the players in this WC nobody would even care.
He showed last wednesday he's getting more mature and totally used those boos to motivate himself even more. I'm proud of him and confident he'll be the best player of his generation.

Ofcourse we know there are a couple players on the team that are prone to going down easy (like on every other f*cking team out there), but not all of them like many of you like to generalize. Nobody likes it, I hate seeing C. Ronaldo play-act but what exactly should I do about it? It also has to be said that many of the accusations have been greatly exaderated too, Portuguese players can be legitimately fouled you know? I don't want to bring England into it either, but this outrage over diving only seems to surface when we play England or English teams, we can play just about any other country on Earth and the subject doesn't even come up.

They NEVER EVER talk about how mediocre England plays football... they just talk about Ronaldo coming to pressure the referee (like if it were a portuguese player stepping the balls of an english one, no english player would complain... what stupid asses, hypocrites)... they just talk about Ronaldos dives, yet Cole did the same, Lennon did the same inside the area. If it were Ronaldo diving like Lennon inside the area you would spend a year complaining what a bunch of cheaters and a disgrace to fottball we are (well, you already do).
All in all, you english are ridiculous.

I'm going to break the English mould and support Portugal against Germany, but please stop slating the English people, it is mainly the media that has persued the Ronaldo hating thing, it is propanganda-like stuff.

You see, there you go again.... thinking that you're the best, thinking the "World" gets mad happy of beating England... thats just sad, pathethic.
We always beat England, i don'g get very excited about that, i was very upset after loosing to France, in a way that i wouldnt be if we lost to England.
France as beaten us is the semis of euro 84, semis of euro 00 and in alot of other games... and loosing to them once again pisses me off.
To England on the other end,i really dont care. Of course i want to win, as i want to win anybody that plays against us in the quarters.

But to be honest though, individually, we had/have some of the best players in the world. You look at the defence, midfield and even the attack. The first 11 is just ridiculously good. But unfortunately Sven didn't make the team gel and therefore we played sh*t as a team. I can understand the arrogance though. This is the best group of players we've had for years.

I think this discussion has gone on long enough. A lot of these other threads should have been closed long ago too. It's a shame that a lot of you guys can't talk without making it a flame war. I regret getting dragged into it as I'm guilty too.
