World Cup 2002 should be able to interface with FIFA 2002- it would give us Africa and Oceania, a training mode, full multiplayer capabilities, and the ability to qualify a country for the World Cup and then play in the actual stadiums in Korea and Japan. And it would only cost about $20 US, like most add-on games.
Instead, what it will be is a game like WC98 with about 40 national teams (the qualifiers plus Netherlands, Australia, etc.), the real stadiums and groups, and not much else, it will cost $40, and I won't buy it.
Wishful thinking perhaps, but I think a lot of FIFA players would buy a World Cup add-on, though EA should have included the World Cup in the first place.
