WE7:I PC and PS2 differences

I own a copy of WE7:I (PS2). I recently tried the PC version and it seems to be a little bit different and in fact easier with the default team in ML. With the PS2 version it seems that the CPU covers better and really tries to push you off the ball. The CPU is not as aggressive with the PC version. Anyone else notice this? Or, I am just imagining things?
