However, the game World Soccer Winning Eleven 9 is not on the list yet. We sincerely do apologize for this and neither do we have any information on when it would be available.

Oh well, I still have my PES5 for the PC. Although, I am thinking about getting it for my PS2. Can anyone confirm whether or not it supports widescreen?

I don't trust letters from customer support,most of them can't tell their a$$ from their elbows,and those letters to support were probably written before the game came out, the only real confirmation we can get is if someone actually has the game and tries to play it on the 360....someone please try!

If this is true then Konami are the biggest cnuts to walk the earth!

FFS, over the space of 5 months between release, they didn't change one single thing from PES5 to WE9 except for a freaking title screen and a box cover yet they manage to change some hidden code to make the game incompatable with the 360 whereas PES5 works fine.

What a useless, pathetic bunch of idiots.

"Hey look guys, there's still no crowd but we've managed to stop the game from being compatable with the 360".

It's not!
As for someone complains, bitches, etc... about conami not doing their part to have it compatible with 360. How about MS as they are those that make the system and said it's backward compatible. You have to have all kinds of add in before you can be backward compatible? That's BS! Think about PS2 backward compatible, does $ony have to update their system to have all the PS1 game compatible? Do you have to have the HD to be bc?

PES5 was already freaking compatable. Konami could have EASILY kept WE9 compatable as all they did was provide a new freaking box and a new freaking title screen. The only addition they made was to change enough otherwise irrelevant code to make sure WE9 won't work on the 360!!!

FFS WHY?

They decide they'll make WE9 not freaking work or rather not give a $hit! Hardly Microsofts fault is it when they had made PES5 work fine?

Yea it doesn't work I do not understand why they would leave WE uncompatible with XBox360 having the tools to make it happen. Competitve online gaming is useless with out voice chat. Im going to wait until the next BW compatible update due in March.

Yep, thanks man.

I wrote Konami America a less than complimentary email yesterday about managing to ruin the backwards compatability of a product but not actually changing anything else!!! I mean are they trying to push 360 owners to FIFA? They've delayed the PC version for almost 2 months and you can guarantee that'll be the same with no roster updates, no crowd, etc. I just don't get how these people work. If you asked these kind of questions to a 5th grade class they'd be able to make better marketing decisions than Konami.

Great games but what a bunch of freaking idiots. Clearly they never want to outsell EA - if they do, they need to fire the chimpanzees they've got working in marketing/PR because they're the biggest idiots in the gaming world (of any company still in existence).
