Wee bit of a problem with Kit Raptor

Hey, hope with this semi-dead forum this gets some views, and hopefully, responses

Anyway, i still have fifa2k4 and, while i plan to replace it eventually, i just had a lil sticking point. Im using the excellent kit raptor available from Breamster, and while its run totally smoothly, i had a few kits, like Atl. Madrid, Valencia, and a few others, which simple cannot seem to be replaced by ones designed by the pros we have here on this forum. On another note, ive gotten replaced some kits, like L'Pool and Real Madrid, then found better, more accurate versions. Yet when i tried to go back and put in the new kits, for example, it worked with a team like Liverpool, but failed with teams like Real, PSV, and Barca. Can anyone explain this for me, cause its simply mystifying why acceptance of a kit is subjective to what team it is, or why some kits cannot be replaced more than once. If nobody has anything to solve this, i guess ill just go out and get fifa 2k5 , but thanks in advance anyway

hmmm...weird

are the kits that you've downloaded in BMP mode? sometimes they come in PNG or JPG and need to be changed.

are you using the 'latest' kitraptor? I think on Breamster, it's version 2.0 with ID tech?

some teams use generic goalie uni's and you need to 'import' them multiple times before they catch.

the files you're importing may not be 'compressing'. use BIGGUI and open either z_data 4 or 5 and look to see if the specific team uni file (playerkittexobj...xxxx.fsh) is compressed. if it isn't, compress it.

these more than likely won't help you, but...i've replaced a specific teams uni's numerous times and never had your problem, so I know it's possible.

Thanks for the response Ballard! Im pretty sure theyre all in the same format, but if some kits take a few times to hook, ill check all the steps that you advised, and give it a few more goes! Thanks a ton man!
