I feel like fifa is moving in a way better derection....but there is allot that i dont like about euro 2004.

It feels like i am playing fifa 2004. I notice the computer players are better and they added some nice moves....but it still does not feel like something it should be. well i am not saying....euro 2004 should be something that is 10 times better then fifa 2004. what i am saying is that fifa could be allot better.

if they followed what pes did they would be a more respected game. what they need to do is- work out there player animations. that right there is the basic part of making an amazing soccer game. where u feel like every kick, touch, pass, cross ect. feels like it would in real life. after u get that worked out you can start building on the game with dif cool idea's.

my bro said one time....if pes players were stick figures and played with the same gameplay he would be happy.
that is the type of feelling fifa needs to give us.

one part i dont like about euro 2004 is the passing. every ball feels like it is allways going to a player on your team.
when u play pe2 u have to work for the ball. yes....sometimes it goes to your player....but sometimes standing and waiting for the ball wont work all the time. when i do crosses
(not across infront of the net) in euro2004. the cross would allways feel like a perfet cross. evert time the ball would land infront of my player or he would chest it down ect... i never once had to run to my crosses. made it feel scripted. making it less enjoyable.

i am not hating on fifa. i just think if they worked out the kinks. fifa could be one of the best soccer games.

This is one thing I've noticed too and that annoys me.
I think the passing system is better in the Fifa2004 version because not so easy IMO.
In Euro2004 there is sometimes a " magnet effect " when you pass and the ball sticks too much to the player's feel so the game appear to move again in a too much arcade direction.
That's why you have always a 70, 75 % ball possession which barely happens in real life and is totally unrealistic
And the passing system is all about what makes a good football game . I play also PES3 on my computer and passing is 100 times better , there is no doubt about that.
It's a great satisfaction to score a goal when you have to fight for your passes
The better passing system in an EA game was IMO in Fifa2002 where you had the possibility to disable the Auto pass effect which made the passing much more difficult.
I still don't know why this feature ( disable auto pass ) is not there anymore in the ini big file

yeah.

if fifa could get the feel of playing perfect. where u feel like every pass kick feels like it would in real life. fifa could build on it without the worry of people going on about how much the gameplay sucks.

i agree with you completely.

There is still one thing i'm having a hard time getting over. Why cant you power up your pass for through ball. Its getting annoying, i hate it. Hopefully it will be better in 2005. Its a great game though.
