Starting XI
One thing that I really hate in FIFA games is the low-depth, easy shooting, which simply requires you to put on a good amount of power and blast it straight in the top corner.
In Pro Evolution Soccer, you have to get the angle, the timing, even the player at times to score good goals and it takes SOOOOO much practice and effort that scoring feels so wicked, but only a good goal, some goals are so cheap, but it all adds to the realism and some good emotion/passion play.
In FIFA every goal looks 'pretty' with perfect top corner shots and what did u do to pull off such a great shot, nothing!! You didn't even have the fear of hitting the ball over the cross bar, cause only full power does that and this is why you can blast it from the half way line and score past the goal keeper that sticks his hand up and waves good bye like an idiot.
Now I am rambling on, but u ppl must agree that the shooting needs some serious work, totally re-invented IMO.
Hopefully EA will do something special with it this time round.
BTW the kit textures look great in FIFA 2003.
