What the hell?!

It seems like my gfx card has started acting up (again! (I've had this problem before). The screenshot shows how my screen looks like all the time, hell I can barely read what I'm writing here :|. Any one know what might be a solution? I mentioned how I've had this problem before, and last time I think it was solved by simply updating the driver or whatever. I just tried that, and it didn't help.... :(

Does it happen only after you log on to Windows or all the way through the boot? Does it work ok if you boot it in "safe mode"?

If so, I'd try changing the resolution (1024x768, or lower maybe)

Could be a monitor problem too, try plugging it into another pc to test it.

most likely overheating. I don't know how familiare you are with hardware, but is the fan on your GFX card running?

Sorry for the late reply people, but I just couldn't be arsed looking into the problem until yesterday and today.

@Goal_machine: Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for the gfx card, and it didn't help. And no, I haven't been using any gfx tweakers or any sh!t like that.

@Kibe Kru: It's completely fu*ked from start of boot, to when I log on to my XP account and use it.

Tried plugging another screen to my comp, and it was still fu*ked.

Tried my gfx card on my cousin's comp, and then his graphics were just as sh!te. :D

So we concluded that the gfx card is permanently screwed, and that it'll be easier to buy a new one (found a good one, really cheap) instead of trying to have it repaired (only to risk it getting fu*ked up again).
