So which uni do you want to go to/are already at/went to? (or did you go to the "University of Life?" Why? (I'm just interested :) )

I am doing the 2-year IB next year (http://www.ibo.org) as my final secondary school examinations (i.e. A-levels), and I am predicted a 40+/45. I would like to go to the University of Helsinki in Finland. (http://www.helsinki.fi) Finland is a beautiful country and the university is great, and I owuld like to take on Chemistry and Maths. I am learning Finnish now from a Finnish friend of mine at school, and the Finns are the best people in the world! :D (in my humble and honest opinion)

I would be the first scouse in Finland (H) (I hope!)

i really wanted to go Queens University here in canada, but my average is too low, and i wanted to go university of toronto, but my average is still kinda low... and now my last resort is university of western ontario, which my average may let me go in, but i have to work hard... i heard UWO is a party school!!! :p

Right now I am going to Sacramento State University here in Sacramento. I am waiting to get my acceptance letter from Syracuse which I haven't recieved yet. I have already been accepted to the University of Oregon-Eugene, the University of Oregon Portland, the University of Washington Seattle, and Puget Sound University. I really want to go to Syracuse but if I don't get in I will more than like go to either U of O or U Dub.

I attend York University in Toronto.

Got accepted into U of T, Ryerson and University of Guelph but chose York because it's a better sports school then the other schools I applied to. They also offered me the largest entrance scholarship out of all the schools so it wasn't hard to accept their offer. I chose to major in Computer science initially but realized that it ******* sucks. Changed my major to Kinesiology and graduating in two years with my BA.

Then it's off to flight college to get my pilot's licenses and build up hours to work in the industry.

Do NOT major in Comp Sci. Worst mistake of my life and I'm paying for it now. :D;)

Worst case scenario, I plan to attend Teacher's college in Melbourne, Australia at Deakin University. That of course is a last resort as my goal at the moment is to pursue a career in the aviation industry.

Don't try to taint that major for everyone. If you look into what it takes, then you may find it very rewarding. I am majoring in it right now, and am very glad that I did. It's not for everyone, but for some it is great. AND I am certainly not a computer nerd. ;)

I'm at Bowling Green State University, in Ohio, but I would be at Purdue University, if it were not so much more expensive.

Your right, I was giving a personal account of what I thought about the major. I should have made that clear. I know what it takes obviously and I found that I wasn't enjoying it at all so I changed my major. My main problem isn't just with the major but with the jobs it leads to and the industry itself. Sitting at a desk entering code all day is not something I can live with doing for the next 35 years of my life. Although obviously there are other careers it can lead to than just programming.;)

I'll be going to Cal State San Bernardino in the fall and my major will be International Business. I would have loved to have been able to go to USC but there is no way in hell I could afford it. My cousin went there but he has to pay back a sh*tload of money as do his parents in loans they had to take out. F*cking Ahnold increased tuition prices here in Cali by 15% though so I need all the money I can get to be able to go to school. :kader:

they are practically paying all my Tuition at Devry, wich is about 15 K a year

I did but I probably won't get much since my parents make $70k a year. Going to a Cal State isn't very expensive though, it'll probably cost me $6-7K a year and San Bernadino is going to give me a little less than $3k a year. It still is too much for my family to be able to afford though. Looks like I might have to get a job. :( :f***: :crazyboy:

I am only in Grade 10 but i will probably go to Bond University. Walking distance from my house although i will drive there:p Its either Bond or Griffith, Griffith being the Cheaper out of the 2. If i cant get into one of them then i will have to go to a Uni somewhere up north like 1-2 hours away:(
