Whats your PC setup? How is performance?

Don't laugh. I've got a 700mHz Pent 3 only 256MB RAM that I'm thinking of upgrading for better gaming performance for FIFA and other 3D gaming. Is it worth upgrading or should I give up and spend hard earned $ on a new system? I'm prepared to buy a ATI Radeon 9200 and more RAM (to total 512 MB) but will it help? I'm not as picky about graphics as some hardcore players but I do want it to look decent and perform fairly smooth. Many might ask why I don't just buy a PS2 or XBox etc but I want to have the editing capabilities.

What do you run and how is the performance??? Any info would be appreciated.:ewan:

Check this out.
P4-2,4GHz Northwood
MB Gigabyte GA-SG800 (Sis Chipset)
512 Mb DDR RAM at 333MHz (PC 2700)
Gigabyte RADEON 9700pro

...and FIFA 2004 run as slow motion, but NBA Live 2004 run fantastic at highest (maximum) settings. FIFA isnt optimized for PC but it is optimized for consoles. It runs great on my Xbox. Dont spend money just for FIFA. You can upgrade for some other newer games, but RADEON 9200 isnot good card. I can suggest you Radeon 9600 pro (nothing less because you will not get anything)

have got

1.8A GHz Pent 4
512Mb RAM
Creative Ti 4600 128Mb Graphics Card
Running Win2K

Fifa 04 runs fine at 1200x1024 with high effects, some slowdown though, especially on goal kicks etc where there is a lot of glare from the floodlights

Intel D850MV mobo (400 fsb)
WD 40 gig 7200

XP pro

Playing the game on high detail @ 1280x960x32 (changed it in my locale) no AA needed at that rez. Using the RENDER and VSYNC_MODE=3 (trpl buf.) with NO SLOW down at any time.

P.S. Using simple player shadows help's.

Look man don`t just upgrade your Ram and graphics cause you won`t get good result out of your card if your procesor is too slow. I`d recommend you to buy a whole new system...really!
But you don`t really need a perfect system for fifa to run well.
