I'd probably wait and see till the reviews for Quake 4 start coming out, and buy that if it looks to be worth it.

Chronicles of Riddick, or the latest (not sure if released yet) The Elder Scrolls should also be great (and with almost endless gameplay) Check some reviews, ull see both games get extremely high scores. There is also HL2, that you must try if you havent already

Chronicles of Riddick has been getting a lot of good rave reviews? If so, that's surprising. Movies-turned-to-games generally suck. I'd go for Quake IV, though. Loved Quake III and Team Arena.

the story has nothing to do with the movie. Its set before what happened in the movie (both of them). Surprised.? Its a good game realy. Just check the reviews. And graphics wise its just slightly worse than doom3. Just slightly(same style gfx). Its one of the top 5 games out there in that area at least the ones i have seen.Right up there with Far Cry, Doom3, HL2 and Chaos theory, And physics/gameplay wise i couldnt find any real flaws. The only thing that surprises me is that i hadnt heard of this game until 3 weeks ago.

I thought the story was directly related to the movie, that's why I said I was surprised. History shows movies that end being games are terribly done (barring Star Wars, of course). I should have looked into CoR a bit thoroughly, though.

IGN says Quake 4 isn't that good, gave it an 8.1.

FEAR is getting hyped as the best game of the year so far. Not sure if I should try it as I'm kinda sick of FPS.

If you got a PS2 get The Warriors, it looks bloody brilliant, but I would probably wait and see what people say about Q4 before buying that. I would either choose FEAR or CoD2.

play a proper RPG like Final Fantasy or Baldur's Gate.
