And what do you want? Maybe you have to send e-mail to EA or call them and ask to downgrade Liverpool because you like MU? If you don't like something, just download CM or CS and do what you want. Seriously, I keep silent about such OP players as Evra, Vidic and Young.

But not as annoying and tacky as someone who spams another person's kits thread just to tell everyone his kits are better. As for the rest, what Bubble Gum said. Complaining about player ratings when they can be edited in half a minute is about as pointless a reason to start a new thread as one could come up with. Seems like all you're really looking for here is an excuse to rant and to type a few naughty obscentiies.

"True" being a totally subjective concept, a reality either lost on you or willfully ignored; can't tell which but given you seem intelligent enough I'm guessing the latter. Bottom line and your personal bias aside, would you appreciate it if different kitmakers spammed your kit thread to say their kits were better than yours? Of course not, you'd be upset and you'd tell them to get lost.

Anyway back on topic, this comment of yours I agree with. If people knew and understood how useless and pointless player ratings and overall ratings in FIFA actually are, they'd fall over from shock. But few people delve into the workings of the game to that extent. They see such and such a player rated ___ and then complain he's rated either too high or too low, when in reality it doesn't matter WTH he's rated. That's because most of his individual ratings, along with his overall rating, make little to no difference as to how he plays.

I can create a team of the best defenders and most dangerous shooters in the game, and not one of them will be rated above 50 overall. The majority of player ratings in this game mean nothing. The only thing certain player ratings do is increase a player's overall, for the sole purpose of averaging out his ratings in relation to the other players on his team and in his particular league. It's mostly for aesthetic purposes only in other words, and has little to do with gameplay realism or creating players who play like their real-life counterparts.

And that's not even getting into the garbage game engine itself and how it completely overrides and nullifies the tiny bit that player ratings can and do matter at times. Because anytime the CPU kicks into hyper-attack cheat mode, every CPU player ín every league suddenly plays like he's rated 99 agility with 99 shot accuracy. Your comment is spot on: the game is an arcade joke in many ways. But not because Andy Carroll is rated 89 or whatever, that's the least of this game's issues.

Explains part of it no doubt. The truth is though the ratings are all wrong for many players and teams. Take a look at these team offense ratings, FIFA 13 winter transfer update:

Top seven teams in the world according to EA -
Barcelona 86
Manchester United 86
Manchester City 85
Real Madrid 84
Bayern 83
Chelsea 82
Spurs 82

What a joke. And way down the list -
Liverpool 76

Last year, Barca scored 30% more goals (115) and Real Madrid 20% more (103) than Man United scored (86). Man City (66) and Spurs (66) didn't even rank in the top four in scoring in their own league, but guess who did? Liverpool (71).

And he's complaining Liverpool is overrated in FIFA?
