Why people play FIFa?Its a game for the kids,see atachments to get proof.

In the past, PES has always been superior to FIFA, but now FIFA is creeping up fast, and IMO, PES fans are pretty much in denial now. They don't want to admit it...

The last thing EA thought about when they signed those contracts were creating the best football game ever. PES has made up for its lack of licenses with a stunning game which delivers in every aspect. Mate, what you fail to understand is that many pes fans are also disapointed with pes. few innovations and lack of ambition (audio, grfx, overall presentation). Fifa vs. pes argument aside, just take an objective view of pes alone and really think about the progression on to the next gen konami have attempted. you may not care whether it evolves or not but many people do (pes diehards as well). I dont think people are arguing gameplay here. While the gp is fun and silky smooth, its not sim (fact) and many pes fans want pes to return to sim. PES has always been superb and does many things right. But I think overall, people want to see it evolve and truly embrace next gen hardware. /Thats where I stand. You can preach about gameplay all you want but its old news. WE9 had superb gameplay, Im already used to pes' good gameplay (whether arcady or sim) now I want more. Lets demand more ambition from konami. In the end I want konami to succeed but I have to call it as i see it. just my opinion of course.

I have played both demos the 08 FIFA and PES 2008 for xbox 360, PES=arcade and players are so robotic, 08 FIFA is smooth as silk and plays very well. and just guess which game I bought.

There is no comparison. PES has been ALWAYS FAR SUPERIOR to Fifa. Konami has a lot of experience in soccer games and their games were always the best. Remember International Super Star Soccer for the SNES? just see all the other soccer games from other companies by the time. There was no competition. Konami got them from the ass.

PES graphics are FAR better rendered, it looks so real that often i see people thinking that they are really watching a soccer match on tv. Not so for fifa where players look like cropped with faulty scissors and put on the field like that. Gameplay is absolutely more realistic in PES. Fifa 07 was fine, the best gameplay of all fifas, but fifa 08 is going back to the same unrealistic shiit of always.

I have Fifa and the only reason i play them is because of the licences (and konami is getting every year more and more licences so in no time both companies will be even) and the easy editing. But if i had a reliable PC version of PES i would quit fifa forever.

Then what does that make PES? It looks like a PS1 title:-puke:and plays too arcady. awful presentation (looks like a high school design project), audio is horrid and online play....well, utter trash, unplayable. PES blind sheep fanboys would love Konami even if they included a turd in the packaging. My opinion of course. Enjoy it!

i am enjoying every moment when i play FIFA08. Is closed than ever to the real thing.

It is too much predictable, you always know what will happen. Which makes the game worse [imo] Your 'ability' to predict what will the CPU do, is compensated with CPU cheats. Lame goals, God-like CPU goalies and a lot more.

The thing i like in PES is the absolutely fantastic gameplay, some unique moves, shooting and dunno what more. I hope the gameplay haven't got worse cos' i'm just getting my PES 2008
And especially...the cpu doesn't cheat like the way fifa's cpu does.

Exactly my thoughts about FIFA...07 was pretty nice but it had some MAJOR bugs...08 is just stupid...it's simply FIFA 07 v2.0

I personally enjoy PES because it's gameplay brings something fresh and fun to the table...I still play PES6 too!

IMO, the gameplay has overall improved in PES2008...now players make much more realistic mistakes and the CPU is much smarter....they are very good at exposing little holes in your team!

Fifa on the 360 is totally different. Different engine.....like night and day

FIFA08 is absolutely awesome! Its like real life football. Best football game out ever in my honest opinion.
