Workaround for some ATI users.

This won't work for all of you, but it will for some.

I've got a 9600 All in Wonder card, and have it all setup so that I can use my computer through my TV.

So the other day, I decided to try FIFA through my TV, and surprise surprise. It actually works fine, no black pitch, no dull colours. Instead a nice bright pitch and everything is nice and clear.

Like I say, it's not going to work for all of you, and you also have the problem of the reduced resolution through the TV. But at least you can see everything for a change.

Just a little hint: you can take screenshots form your monitor by pressing PrtScn so you don't have to use your camera. And I think if you adjust your monitor's brightness the turff will show better.

I know I can take pictures using the prtscr button, I was trying out my funky new cameraphone though.

Also the brightness and contrast on my monitor is turned up full, the turf is still near black. It doesn't get any brighter, it's still fine to play obviously but not exactly ideal.

But through the TV I get a nice bright picture with a lovely green pitch. Far better to play on, except for the crap resolution.

Is there any way one of us can edit the necessary ini or whatever file to reduce the damn dark turf? I have the 6.5 ATI drivers and the lighter turf is barely working. It's apparent EA isn't going to do a goddamn thing about this and this game will remain unpatched.

Where can one start to change the turf; it has to be a configuration setting or something. Anything.
