it'd be truly embarassing not to win this match, Angola sucks ass :jambo:

0-3

Pauleta x2, Ronaldo

I just want us to take the match seriously. Sometimes our enemy is our own mentality. This is a world cup game, whether it´s against Angola or against Brazil, they have to play for the win, give everything on the pitch and get the job done. I predict a 2-0 win with goals from Deco and Pauleta.

There'll be a lot more pressure on us than them, that's for sure. I just hope we act like f*cking true professionals for a change and take the game by the neck and win this. No f*ck ups!

CRonaldo is a concern for me, his attitude lately has been deplorable. Things better change tomorrow..

I've got a feeling it won't be as easy for Portugal as some of you think.

I'm rooting for Portugal in this group though. I say they'll win 3-1.

well, we'll have no excuses not to win. Angola is basically Portugal Jr., since like half the team plays for Portuguese clubs, or has had some ties to Portuguese football. Their play certainly won't be a mystery or have any secrets. Portugal has been pretty mediocre in warm-up games though, so who knows...

What will be really interesting is to see what type of match this turns out to be....last time these two met in a "friendly", it looked more like a WWE battle royal. I fully expect to see at least 1 red card and several yellows tomorrow.

Damm, what about Zé Kalanga? He was the guy that said that Angola was going to win the Wc after they won the last qualifying match :fool: :gavin:

that Zé Kalanga dude is promising, really pacy.
Mateus is supposed to be one of their stars but everytime I saw him play he looked totally useless....

I think people should put their eyes on Angola's RB, Loco, he's got the potential to be elected the worst player to ever step on a WC stage.

I´ve read some rumours that Leverkusen want Zé Kalanga, perhaps the World Cup will uncover a gem. I just hope he doesn´t do well against Portugal :p

yeah same here. Akwá is pretty crap too IMO, despite the praise he's received in the past. I guess he showed some potential when he was at Benfica, but that was kinda short lived..

I was told by a friend close to Angolan football that Akwá is actually about 40 years old now :brow:

2-0 for Portugal. if our players have the right attitude it should be a walk in the park.

A lot of people thought that Sweden vs T&T was gonna be a walk in the park for Sweden and look what happened. What I'm trying to say is right now you can't say what team is weak or strong. Besides these African nation have nothing to lose since just getting to the World Cup was a historic accomplishment. Sometimes the team that plays the best futbol is the team with the least pressure from the fans and media. Just a thought, though.
