if france beats togo, they'll have 5. but the swiss have to lose to korea. if they draw, they'll be even at 5 with france. france need to score some goals. and zidane's out. expect dhorasoo to replace zidane.

What a terrible lineup. Seriously, there are so many talented French players, results like these are completely unacceptable. Domenech should be fired on the spot. Like right now. Let an assistant manage the rest of the Cup.

EDIT: But you have to love this Korean team. I know they were semi-finalists, but in my eyes, and in the eyes of a lot of people they will always be seen as underdogs. They are amazing! I've never seen a team put forth as much energy as the Koreans do.

well, i think it'll be a blessing in disguise when the old guys from the '98 team retire (for good). they just have way too much influence over the team. you have a lot of bright players and young prospects. henry and trezeguet are only 28. those guys used to be a great tandem. i remember during the euro2004 qualifiers, they were firing on all cylinders.

thank you. i hope the koreans showed the world today what they're made of. their semi-final run during the last world cup was tainted in many eyes because of favorable calls and the home crowd. but i hope they gained respect today. of course we'll be considered underdogs though. but that's no problem, really.
