World Cup patch in the making.

I am currently trying to create a saved game with correct groups and squads for the World Cup so that you can manage you favourite team in the WORLD CUP!
I have made about half of the tams.

It is just about finished now.
What is left is some tweaking of players stats and fixing number of caps for players and some other stuff...

That sounds like a great idea, but I'm concerned about one thing. Would some player stats be edited, because I know Ferdinand Coly and Papa Bouba Diop are stars of the tournament, but are complete **** on CM.

can you edit scores/results or do you have to play the game and hope that the right teams make it???

I selected a swedish game as that game already has teams and groups made up for the World Cup. Then I played until just before the start of the tournament. Then I changed names an colours of teams and nations so that there are correct teams in every group. Then I change nations of players so they go into correct teams and then pick them for their teams so that there are correct squads. I have even changed ability and reputation of some sides so that they line up their actual starting elevens from the FIFA World Cup 2002.

I have made some players better for example Coly and Bouba Diop so that they start in the team...

I have even updated caps and goals for some teams based on the info from the official World Cup site.

Thats a good idea. Have you by any chance changed teams formations eg. Brazil playing 2 off and 1 striker by any chance?
