Amazing patch for such a small download. This is basically the same as Superpatch, only 100 times smaller.

I like this patch, it's really amazing... Ronaldinho's face is great! But:
I can't see Robihno.
I think you should unlock the items in the shop.
I think, when Ronaldinho's face is so cool, the other stars faces must be cool too - C. Ronaldo' s face is terrible, I don't like Rooney's face too.
And please add the four Afrika teams!
Then this patch will be "THE BEST". Now it is just "the best". I hope you can see difference

First of all, this is NOT a patch...it's an option file.
The reason why Robinho, Messi and a few others can't be seen is my fault. These 2 players are part of the Classic Teams, now the U21 teams. Now when it came to converting the file for use on the Xbox and PC i forgot to transfer the PES Points/Shop Items/Options etc so therefore you need to unlock the Classic Teams to get these players into the game.
I've fixed this plus alot of other reported mistakes, i've also updated other national teams not in the World Cup. I'll post updated download links either tonight or tomorrow, i'll be sure to let everyone know when i've added them.

just wondering if any of u can help. i have downloaded it for the PC, saved it into folder 1, backed up the original and deleted it from the dat folder and the game still is unchanged and still recognizing the old option file despite it not being in the correct place !?!?!

My compliments for the great patch. I checked out alot of star players and must say the stats on them seem to be good and objective, rosters are good, teams are good. Really decent work.

I am guessing you have WE9I and downloaded WE9I option file? Well for some strange reason the filename is the same as in PES5, so this confused me at first. Is there no difference? Anyways, I renamed it and it works. Maybe its the same problem in your case.

cheers but the thing is , i have pro evo 4 and i bought it off a guy who really knows his stuff about this kind of thing and he told me that if i download the PES 5 version it should still work with PES 4. ?!?!?!
any other ideas ?

He obviously doesnt know this type of thing. PES4 and PES5 'are' different games, though very similar, at least my IT background says that I find it hard to believe that they match. It is quite possible to convert from one to another, but I do not think PES4 and PES5 have exactly the same Option file system. I might be wrong of course.
Anyways, as for the developer of WSAG Evolution.. Why distribute files separately in PES5 and WE9I if they both then work as the same? I checked the file size which was also the same on both files, as an addition to filenames, so.. the difference between PES5 and WE9I is 'only' in game engine mechanics and not option file wise?

Download PESFan Editor.
You can load your option file and unlock all the shop items or just give yourself points to unlock things. Problem solved.

I'm bringing out V3 in about 3/4 weeks time. All the reported errors have been fixed. Theres gonna be lots more new features and updates. Check my thread on pesinsight for all the discussions on it.
BlueScouse you freakin OWN Man. How in the hell did u manage to edit license teams through an option file???? PLaying with the new Arsenal kit on my ps2 is freakin sweet since my other modchipped ps2 broke i have to use option files. Well bro u are the man may God bless u for your hard work.

appreciate the work, but this option file is riddled with errors. or is it that my faces are messed up, what 0_text file is it based on?
